    • White color is different between upper and midsole. Price overall, does not justify the shoe.

When it comes on On shoes, there are high expectations when it comes to comfort vs price. From initial look at the appearance, it has a sleek upper. The upper material is ice white, but the midsole is an ivory white. This offset in white colors is a bit off-putting. As for ease of fit, it fits true to size without any issue in inserting into the shoe. Removing the shoe can be done while laces are in place, but you'll need to step on the heel in order to remove, which can expect to dirty and discolor the shoe. When stepping into the shoe, there is immediate step in comfort from a soft in-sole. The cushion on the otherhand, is solid, but there are other shoes out there that produce a better result especially in the On shoe line such as the Cloudtilt and the Cloudmonster. As for the traction it is relatively flat in design and appears it can hold against most terrain for the most part. By overall appearance the On logo is reflected and provides a polished appearance, but from a birds-eye view of the shoe, the two different white color doesn't make sense in terms of maintaining a smooth appearance with clothing. Do note that the opening of the shoe, tapers off, therefore certain clothing that don't taper will create a asymmetric appearance. Regarding price after it is all said and done, it is debatable. With having bough multiple On shoes such as Cloudmonster 1 &2, Cloudtilt, Waterproof Cloudsurfer and Cloudnova, this shoe is definitely not as comfortable as the Cloudmonsters and not as easy to put on when compared to either the Cloudtilt or Cloudnova. Overall I would consider other said options if you value comfort and fit. Price will need to be significant less in order to be worth the value. ... show more
