I recently bought 3 new pairs of Olukai shoes of varying style, these being my favorite. For just day-to-day travelling about in my regular spaces my Olukais are without peer. Comfort and slide are totally awesome, plus boat shoe traction. Style gets high marks as well and you can actually walk for a bit in slider position. I'm now in the habit of looking in for new shoes from them from time to time just to see new releases. The only downside is I like these so much I am wearing my regular lace tie shoes a lot less. I wear 14 and these fit true to size. So glad I picked these as they are everything I had hoped. I took them on a fishing trip where I would also be white water rafting and these were awesome. I have pretty high arches and a recurring pinched nerve in left forefoot area. Shoes can a problem and need to be somewhat lose fit and not too tight! This shoe definitely feels good and NOT too tight since you can't adjust the "shoe strings". I normally wear size 9 medium and their foot sizing guidelines put me in their size 9 too. First time wearing, the shoe's sole and the bottom separated pad things felt weird, but got use to pretty quick. I don't understand why the bottom sole pad things are not a continuous layer?
