These shoes fit great, foot support on the heel and the weave is fantastic. The insole is also pretty and they are quite comfortable. The only thing to note is they can get hot on a hot day, but not unbearable.

This is my second pair of Lae'ahi Lauhalas. Look great and are comfortable! First pair was a 10M and just a tad too large, was a little too wide and heel slipped a bit. My foot is 11" long and 4.5" wide; I wear a 10D boot, 10.5C and 10D dress shoe, 10.5 Vasque, Salmon hiking boots and size 11 Merrill hiking boot. Ordered Lae'ahi Lauhala in size 9.5 this time and they fit perfectly! I have had the first pair for over a year now and over time noticed the same problem with foot odor mentioned by other reviewers. A little foot powder and the odor goes away. It's been below freezing here since my second pair arrived -- so, too early to tell about foot door. I have not had any issue with durability as noted by some other reviewers. The first pair look brand new. But I do NOT wear mine a lot; primarily around the house and while driving. So not a real test of durability, i.e not on the beach, hiking over lava, backpacking (though I'm not understanding how users would expect this lightweight shoe to stand up to those conditions!) Would highly recommend this shoe for lightweight use (i.e. not 24/7 trail use!)

Purchased for the hubs in the color Tan as an all-around summer shoe. They look great in person, are very comfortable, and quality is top notch— which is typical for Olukai. You can never go wrong with Olukai. When the family saw me open the package to reveal a pair of Olukai shoes they exclaimed, “Ooooooooooo!” If you know, you know. Hubs also reported that they are a little wide in the heel and slip a little bit when walking. He says it’s fine, but still, it was enough that he noted it. He is a consistent size 10.5, rarely does a shoe not fit right for him. These are too awesome to return over something as minor as that, however, so heel pads will help narrow the heel to fix this issue. Definitely going to get more colors. Overall: Maika’i!

I always buy extra wide but after reading some reviews that said they fit wide feet good I decided to buy my exact size 11. I was not disappointed the width is perfect and they feel extremely comfortable. They are slightly loose in the heel but it doesn’t bother me or my walking. I am probably going to buy another pair in another color as well

I normally wear Olukais year round, and wear a size 12. When I ordered this shoe in a size 12 they were big on my feet, felt like a size 13. I reordered in a size 11.5 and perfect fit. I gave my size 12s to my cousin and he called to say they were the most comfortable shoe he's ever worn. He went to the swapmeet in them and his feet didn't get tired.
