This is a really nice set to have around the house for everyday repairs and projects. It covers all your basic needs and honestly goes beyond what most people would need to get started. Obviously you're not going to find specialized tools in here, but for general home repair stuff this has you covered. The tool quality is decent. Not premium by any means, but not cheap junk either. They feel solid enough for regular household use. One thing I really appreciate is that it comes with full length screwdrivers rather than a handle with swappable bits. I much prefer having dedicated screwdrivers and it feels more substantial. The extra accessories thrown in are a nice bonus too, things like wall anchors and zip ties that you'd otherwise have to buy separately. The storage case keeps everything compact and easy to store, which is great. My issue is with the cutouts inside. They aren't perfectly sized for all the tools and I actually had to do a little cutting to get some of them, like the wrench and pliers, to fit properly. That's not something you should have to do with a brand new kit. Related to that, I'm not super confident in how securely the tools are held in place. If you're planning to travel with this or move it around a lot, I'd expect some tools to come loose. It's not a huge deal when it's just sitting in a closet, but it's a bit inconvenient for a new product. Overall it's a great value for what you get. Just don't expect perfection from the case.

If you can grab this while it's on sale, you will thank yourself a million times later. This is a step up from a beginner's level home repair kit. It has repair parts (basic stuff; tape, screws, zip ties), lots of hand tools, bits; sandpaper; and even wire strippers and a voltage tester. It does not have any electric or battery-powered tools. That's fine. Ever just need a screwdriver, a pair of pliers, a wrench? This convenient little kit has it all. It even has a little drawer that firmly locks in place but opens to reveal supplies and more tools. Because it is densely packed with real metal tools, it weighs a lot. It's meant to store in a closet or bottom shelf, not up high anywhere. It is small enough to carry in a trunk or in the cab of a pickup, but its weight will reduce your gas mileage a touch. A few nitpicks from a 40+ year tool user and home DIYer; the EIGHT OUNCE hammer is half the weight it should be; the kit includes a "striking cap" to put over the hammer supposedly to prevent damage (don't do that; get a deadblow hammer or a rubber mallet); the crescent (adjustable) wrench just WILL NOT fit into its little storage nook; the hacksaw is fine but no wood saw is included (do NOT use a hacksaw for wood cutting, please); the "nails" are too small for most projects. OTHER THAN THAT, this is a fabulous all-in-one DIY home repair apartment fixer kit. You may find it helpful for assembling kit furniture, too. Many of the items are for temporary fixes until you can get a professional in, but they're all still good to have! If you're not sure what something is, the kit comes with a graphic explaining all the tools. This kit includes metric and customary measure items, which is GREAT!

Nice set of casual repair ready tools. Some things i feel could be better like the handles of the pliers and the tape measure. They feel cheap or at least the materials feel cheap anyway. The kit has almost everything you would need to avoid hiring a handyman or waiting for someone to come home that has all the tools in their vehicle. Screw bits are moderately durable along with the solid tools that come in the kit. The drawer is a bit of a hassle at times to get pulled out or pushed in. The plastic that its covered with when you get it makes it a pain to remove the drawer from the start. After removing the plastic it is a little easier to move the drawer. The carry handle is nice it seems durable enough to carry and not worry about coming apart so thats a plus in itself. Worth the order to have on hand at any time.

Wow! This kit has everything anyone would ever need for home maintenance including even some specialty tools. I was a carpenter/handyman before I was a dentist and this one kit alone contains about 95% of the tools I used as a handyman! The case is convenient because there's a place for everything. It's plastic, but the case just needs to hold tools! The important part of any set are the tools. They all seem to be good quality and there seems to be one of everything. There are tools in here to tackle everything from plumbing to car repair to picture hanging and electrical work. It even has a compartment for picture hanging with anchors and wire included. Some tools you don't see in every kit that are in this one: Allen wrenches, a hacksaw with extra blades, electrical wire stripper and tester, level, and even electrical tape. This will probably live at my office as my "repair kit" This would be a perfect gift for a new homeowner. My wife would love this because it's organized. I tend to keep random tools in random places and she is an organizer. For the price, you can't beat this. Father's Day is coming up and even if your dad has everything, he'll still appreciate this!
