LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! It literally is saving my new ear piercing! I went to a professional place and got my 2nd ear piercing and they said their earring was 14k gold plated…… well after a few days my ears got so swollen and puffy that it was trying to push that earring out, it turns out I’m allergic to earrings unless they’re 100% gold. Not JUST gold plated. So I did the one thing I wasn’t supposed to do…. I took out those gold plated earrings bought these bad boys instead and had my husband shove them in my swollen ear piercing…… One full month later and my ears still haven’t had an issues with these! AMAZING!!! (Now I know my photo my ears still look irritated and swollen, and that’s because they are, but they were WAY worse before I put in these earrings and every day they are sloooowllllllyyyy getting better! Also I got hoop earrings on purpose because my ears were so swollen I needed something with no backing so it gave my earlobes room to swell) Yes it was a little hard to put in and to slide the little wire into the other side of the earring, but once it’s in you never have to worry about them falling out! These are great! My ears are sensitive and get irritated if I’m not wearing real gold. So, I bought these because they were exactly what I was looking for, I wanted small hoops that I could wear 24/7. I’ve had these in since the day they arrived and I love them! I don’t even notice that I’m wearing them. They are a bit hard to put in, you have to twist them quite a bit, so pull up a chair and sit in front of a vanity mirror and be patient. Kind of surprised these don’t have all five star reviews - for the $$ the quality is incredible! I waited a long time to write this review because I wanted to see how they held up. I bought these last September so I’ve been wearing them for about 9 months straight. I also bought a pair for my 7 year old daughter at the same time and she hasn’t been wearing hers constantly too! We both have sensitive ears and can’t wear cheap earrings so these are definitely real gold. Being 7 years old though my daughter constantly wants to wear cute cheap earrings so she will for a couple days, then her ears will get inflamed and scabby, then she puts these back in and they go back to normal!! I don’t change earrings ever but I’ve taken them out once or twice and put them back in. They hold up beautifully. For anyone who says they bend, well, you’re supposed to twist them to get them in. Look up a YouTube vid on how to get endless earrings in! It’s difficult at first but then you get the hang of it! I got the smallest size available and I love how dainty, simple, and minimal they are. They are perfectly comfortable and feel like I’m wearing nothing at all! I’m about to purchase a second pair for my second holes that have been empty for years. So glad I found these!! ... show more

I got these for my cartilage piercings, while they are light and dainty like I wanted, I can’t clasp them on my own without bending and misshaping them. I’ve worn this style earring for 20 years and these are the most difficult I’ve ever had since there is no hinge. They are real gold, I’ve had no allergy issues. I will keep them until I find something better, but the gauge is a 20 or even smaller that goes into the piercing. I don’t want my cartilage getting used to the small gauge. So far my ear has naturally rotated the earring and I often find the thicker part of the hoop (18g) in my piercing. They’re thin, dainty and affordable, but they’re real. It all depends on what you’re looking for. It’s a “good enough” for me, but not something I’ll wear long term like I was looking for since I doubt they will hold up to nonstop wear. ... show more

I got my cartilage pierced 9 months ago and was having trouble with the surgical steel captured ball hoop. No matter what I did, the piercing kept flaring up, getting angry and painful. I had luck with titanium before but while perusing hoop earrings I noticed these. I've got a nickel sensitivity so I can't wear silver and I have trouble with some grades of surgical steel. I gave these a chance and so far, 4 weeks in, I haven't had any of the issues I've previously had with other earrings. Important note!! The size 10mm are VERY small. If you're trying to insert these into your cartilage, you might to have trouble unless you're unusually dexterous. They do not have hinged posts. Rather then damage or harm my piercing (already angry from the previous ring), I took them to my piercer who easily popped it in. I was so pleased I bought two 14mm sets (these were larger and easier to insert!) for my 2nd and 3rd ear lob piercings and haven't had any issues (see pic). ... show more
