They included a test kit to verify they actually block blue light. I tested my prescription glasses (which have blue light blocking), my husband's glasses, my son's amber flip-up blockers and another pair of supposedly blue light flip-up blockers I bought on Amazon. I bought these and started wearing them once the sun goes down if I am going to be using my electronics. They're very comfortable and I forget I have them on sometimes until i catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror. My teenage son has now started taking them for gaming.
