I tried some of the techniques suggested and feel like it has loosened up my painting. It is hard to change over to working on values because sometimes there are so many values that you feel like you are painting the picture twice. When you apply the second coat you have built in guidelines and some built in shading. The challenge is to " keep the values simple stupid.' Cant wait for further instruction/book 2. ... show more
