My reason for purchase: I found a hole under an outdoor lounge that looked like a lizard cave and I wanted to see if anyone was in there. I just got this. Unboxed it and had it going in under 5 min. Installed app. Connect phone’s Wi-Fi to device. Viola. Easy to use: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Camera quality: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you’re like me, and you’re here looking for things to use off-label / for unintended purposes like sticking an endoscope in a dirt hole to see what’s in it… I can tell you this camera is fine for this purpose. The thing that made using this difficult for my need was the giant hose attached to the camera - it’s very long, stiff and coiled so it is a bit unruly. I would never need this much length as I’m not attaching this to a drain snake or lowering it into a tank or anything like that, but if I were this amount of length would be clutch. The stiffness of the hose/cord makes it a little tough to maneuver- but I’m not sure how one could solve this. Maybe if the cord was less stiff it would have been more difficult, like guiding a noodle into a tube 🤷🏼♀️ this is more like guiding a thick curly straw into a tube. Anyway, if you’re trying to spy on animals this will work as far as the camera view but think about how much cord length you need because if I was doing this over again I’d look for something with less cord. that’s not the fault of the item tho, so I’m still giving 5 stars - just leaving this review in case there’s anyone like me out there. I doubt it, I’ve never met anyone like me… but if you are out there, this is for you super star 😁 ... show more

The media could not be loaded. 4.5 out of 5 (rounded up to 5 since there's no half star option). Semi-stiff cable makes it slightly hard to push through larger drains and hard to push through certain pipe joints. I had to tape the camera to my hydrojet in order to get it far enough into the pipe. Quality is great and has allowed me to inspect my main drainage pipe to see how bad the grease/fatberg clogs are. There is a noticeable delay in focus at times and focus shifting occurs with the camera stationary but with something moving in the background and this has caused some minor frustrations. Video saves in .avi format with the recommended app. Two complaints - would like a manual focus override (hardware or software) and the LED lights could be brighter. The LED brightness dial is basically pointless - it's either off or max brightness. There isn't enough usable light at any setting below maximum. ... show more

I initially loaded what appeared to be a more robust app, but it did not work at all. Once I loaded the right app, it worked instantly (as soon as I connected my phone to the borescope in the WiFi settings). Very happy with the pictures and features. Now if I can just keep the lint off the mirror to keep it out of the pictures... ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The borescope is waterproof and rechargeable, which right off the bat I love. Nothing is worse than electronics that fail from water damage, it has great durability, and I love not having to rely on batteries so it's very convenient. The unit came charged but I plugged it in to allow for a full charge anyway, I have used it at least 6 times so far and the battery is still logged as a near full charge so I am happy about that as well. Controls on the unit include Unit on/off switch, Light on/off switch, Light intensity control, zoom in zoom out buttons, camera photo button. Overall, simple to use, great battery, durable, reliable. Worth the money go get one! The scope supports connection to both Android and iPhone; I used the Android app and it has very simple functionality so it was perfect pairing with the scope itself. . I immersed the camera lens in about 6 inches of water, and only for about 30 seconds. Then the screen went completely black on the phone. It was working ok just before. I believe water got into the lens, as I could detect a little moisture seeping out of the lens around the cable end after the exterior was fully dried off. This unit is supposed to be able to withstand a meter of water for 30 minutes. This was my very first use of the unit, and unfortunately after the support window had already closed. However, after my initial one-star review, the seller, Oiiwak Tech, reached out to me and offered to make it right by sending me a replacement scope. The replacement works just fine and I’m grateful for their solid customer service in wanting to ensure my complete satisfaction, and especially the several communications with Jennifer which go above and beyond what I might have expected from a seller. I’ll be a bit careful about fully immersing the new unit although it is supposed to be able to handle it. I suspect it will be fine in wet or damp situations, which is probably all I will need. ... show more
