You have to remember to remove these from the rod before casting or you will loose them. The clips are a bit bulkier in real life than they seamed to me in the photo, but they still worked well. I didn't get to test the batteries much, but they are bright and the bells are loud. You can hear them from a good ways away. The battery is a little tricky to get it out so that you can turn it over as per the instructions, but it works well and seems to be of decent quality. Good bang for buck in my opinion.

I just got these for the bells, the lights were cool lookin but after testing them out last night I must say I’m super impressed with the lights and the ease of use. The lights are waterproof, I only found out after accidentally casting one out and later retrieving it from the water still working greatly. I am completely sold on these.

I want to really like this product. It is exactly what I look for out of an affordable light for night and ice fishing. The problem is the product is unable to handle the harsh winter, does not work after a half hour to an hour. A little weather proofing will take this product a long way.

The light sits in a housing on the clamp. This housing is so thin that when the light is placed in this housing it splits the housing. Because of this it will not hold the light and can cause the holder to loose it's ability to secure itself to the rod. The clamp light housing can fail by just exercising the clamp without the light in place. I found at least one housing split right out of it's package. I do not recommend this product as is.
