This product was one of the lowest priced blood glucose meter on Amazon. Very good average review score, but had a few troubling reviews complaining of missing solution and inaccurate result. It was inexpensive, and description seems legit, so I gave it a try. Ease of use - having never used one of these before, it seemed very straight forward to get it working. Strip was immediately recognized by the meter; no need for control solution. Lancet setting 3 worked well for me. Blood gets pulled into the test strip quickly and results came out in 5 seconds as promised. Accuracy - a high glucose test result at a hospital prompted me to get this, and my initial test result credibly reproduced my hospital result in the high 100’s! As my low carb diet progressed over the course of many weeks, this glucose test returned results < 80! And last week my hospital check confirmed the low reading, 73! I’m very happy with this product; it works well and it’s very inexpensive. Definitely a great help for me to live a healthy life. Wish they could also sell keto strip now my glucose level is so low...

I bought this out of abundance of caution being diagnosed with pre-diabetes. The meter is very easy to use, the lancing device is pretty gentle and it's all a great value overall. Both the meter and lancing device have an eject for the strips and lancets so you don't need to touch them again after use. I have another meter that's missing those features and I went back to this since it just makes everything easier. If you need to assist in testing for someone else, this could be a plus. I definitely recommend it.

This unit is compact easy to use and comes with it's own carrying case.It has the test meter,test strips,lances and spring loaded lancer and easy to follow instructions.Sometimes you get an error and have to re-do the test which is annoying,but not bad for the money.

The meter is great for my needs and comes in a cute small portable case. I check my sugar 4x a day and i do not feel much pain with the lancet device. I like that this meter is affordable and accurate. I compared my numbers from this meter to the Accu-Check Guide meter and the numbers were very close. i ended up buying the refills that came with the control solution shortly after this purchase and I checked the meter with it. The control solution showed that the meter was defective and i brought it up to customer service. The seller got back to me very quickly and sent me a new meter within 2 days. The new meter is working well and i am happy with this purchase. I would just suggest to purchase the control solution to make sure your meter is working correctly. Overall nice product and great customer service.

I was at the doctor for a checkup and told them that my fasting glucose level was 118 and was concerned about it because the results put me in the prediabetes category. The nurse said she could check it for me for an additional $18. So, I decided to buy this test kit and check it myself once a week. I am 63 y/o and don't want to fight diabetes the rest of my life. So glad i did. It took just a few minutes to figure everything out and run the test. I tested about the same as my last lab test 120, but after a week of trying to eat regular meals during the day and a few other things, my next test came in at 110. Still to high but it dropped 10 points. So I saved more than enough on the two tests to pay for this kit. Then I tested my wife and she tested at 119. So it gave us information we can use to try to lower our levels at a cost of less than one test at the doctors office.

My meter stopped working and was giving me an ER1 that there was an issue with the software - so I ordered a replacement on Amazon and then contacted the company. Liz at customer service replied: Hi Anthony Sorry about that. Send over your shipping address so we can send out a replacement right away. No need to hassle with a return. Kind Regards, Meter arrived via Amazon with 3 days - Excellent customer service - excellent product and easy to use and reasonable in cost. I highly recommend the product and the company.

I was given a popular brand of monitor in December while in the hospital. I replaced that one with another of the same brand, due to accuracy issues. I was about to replace THAT one (the 2nd) with a 3rd in as many months and decided to stop wasting money and get another brand. I'm so glad I did! What a HUGE difference! It works with even the tiniest bit of blood and I don't have to keep pricking my fingers trying to get it to take a sample. I also chose this brand due to the price of the strips, which is reasonable. I also like the fact that is has a 3 yr warranty. Hopefully I won't need it, but it's nice to know they stand behind their product.
