The cameras are solid, they work, the app works really well to connect and setup devices so major points on the app, functional use is good, but not stellar. The cameras seem to have decent enough picture quality. Not stellar, but the quality is decent enough. Could use controls for brightness and color. Minor changes to that could improve the quality of the images dramatically which is essential for proper face detection. Google Home integration is also present as well as Alexa (See PS note below). One of my cameras however did have something loose inside it, despite that it appears to work. For any future iterations of this camera, sealing in the SDcard with a screw on cap should be a thing . Easy for someone to just walk up and pop the SDcard if it's within reach. I had to get creative for that. SDcard AND cloud support (this is optional), the service is $$$ compared to competitors, this is better for SDcard use mainly IMO. I like that manual recording is possible and saved to the device recorded on (phone) and SDcard I presume. Freemium cloud alerts For the price it's a good deal and worth the buy. The four stars is due to the loose bit inside the camera, that's a QA issue. Also for the lack of even basic image controls. PS Doesn't connect well to Google Home app works just fine through Yi IOT app, BUT this seems to be an issue with Google Home as I have other 3rd party IOT devices that don't connect to Google Home. I'm disappointed in the light bulb security camera. First, it came with no operating manual or training video. I'm older than dirt and when it comes to anything electronic, I need clear instructions. Second, both the front and back yard cameras send constant alert. Every time the flag or the flowers on my porch move with the wind, which is constantly blowing, I receive an alert. Whenever the whirlygig in the back yard blows in the wind, I receive an alert. Whenever a bird flies by or a moth is drawn to the light, I receive an alert. However, when the lawn service came to spray my yard, it did not alert me or take videos either in the front yard or the back yard. Even worse, it did not record him coming to my door to leave a receipt, and that should have clearly been seen by the camera. What is the sense in me having security that isn't secure? I tried to set it so it would just alert for humans...but it immediately defaults back to All Activity. If my son can't figure out how to make it work properly, I'll have to send it back and get a Ring, which I really didn't want to do. ... show more

From my gate to my garage (or corner of our yard) is 70' and this camera is placed roughly 60' from my gate. So I am unable to see my gate and the garage in the same view but I love that I can move the camera all around. I love that you can plug it in as an option. It was too tall to fit into some of our light fixtures by our porch door and our garage. But we found a new spot for them. I had to turn down the alert sensitivity because it alerted us A LOT lol everytime a car went by or the leaves moved. But now that I've turned down the sensitivity it works great. ... show more

I had to silence the notifications even on the lowest settings these bulbs picks up shadows, insects, trees blowing, leaf falling to the ground. There should be a setting to turn off this sensitive motion and set it for a person like other cameras do. On day one I had over 100 notifications due to this with none of them being a person. If you're looking for an actual lightbulb this isn't one and does not illuminate the area even with the torch on, it only lights the area the camera is pointed at. At night even with the glass clean the picture is not clear through the light fixture. ... show more

It isn’t perfect but works well for the price . The only thing I don’t really like to s that you have no light on the porch when camera is screwed in. And to be ably to record you have to record on your phone manually after a motion notice, or buy a somewhat exspencive ixloud account.
