This kit was one of the first brick building toys I did not from the major brand and I really enjoyed the experience. I didn't know what to expect exactly but I took the leap and I'm very glad I did. This model is a bit larger than the other ones, so it won't fool anyone, but it is a very nice model. The build process itself was nice and the instructions were clear. The kit comes with stickers for either driver, so you get to choose whose number goes on. A couple of minor issues: The nose construction is a little finicky. It's not a big deal but it surely wouldn't be an "approved" build method from the other brand. The instructions have you build the whole car then add the stickers at the end. I would much rather do the stickers as you go because once it's built I had a hard time accurately placing them where they were intended, leading to me deconstructing the model part ways in order to line them up well enough. On the subject of the stickers though there is a positive: like some of the other brands (as I've learned) these are pretty much the same size as the brick or space they're intended to go on, so there's not as much guess work or approximating to get them where they should go. All in all I really enjoyed building this model and it looks great on my shelf.

Really fun build! Not quite the same quality/attention to detail as LEGO Speed Champions, but very darn close! Pros: - Nice packaging, box, manual, bagging, stickers - Officially Licensed - Fun to build, good instructions, finished result looks amazing on the desk! Cons: - Not a fan of how the the stickers overlay multiple pieces. I don't think LEGO would do this, as it prohibits deconstructing & rebuilding. Not a biggie as it will be a display piece, but this is an issue if you like taking apart and rebuilding. - I wish instructions had you put on stickers as you build vs. doing almost all of them at the end. Had to take a few pieces off to put stickers on properly. Again, not a major issue, but would be nice to do it as you build. All in all, for the price, this is quite good. A worthy addition to any F1/Lego fans collection!

Looks nice, however, poor quality control. Some pieces did not fit well. Kept falling apart. Had to glue them in the end.

Rastar's Hummer EV by GMC is a reasonably priced set that is equal to Speed Champions. The manual is printed on thick high quality paper with clear easy to follow instructions and interesting build techniques. The bricks are well made and lock together precisely, plus I ended up with 25 extra pieces. There are no stickers in this set just printed pieces, a huge plus so no discoloration between stickers and bricks. No minifigures in set but, that's good for me since my minifigure likes having multiple rides. Overall a great building experience for less than cost than it's major rival, and so excellent I both three of them for my lego city.

This was purchased as a collector product and the very poor shipping ruined this aspect. Part of the collectable is having the whole product plus the package in crisp condition. The box was shipped in a bag that ruined the box and thus is no longer collectable. Very disappointed with the careless package and lack of respect for the product purchased. Kit is poorly formed and required filling to make parts fit. Poor quality molding. Poor fit all over. Whole nose of car design is piss poor even for amature standards. The only good thing i can report is the stickers and screen printing looks very good. Makes the rest of the kit such a disappointment. This could have been so good with better design. Ironically that is what Red Bull engineering is known for. I dont think they would be too happy to see this officially licensed sack of crap. DO NOT BUY THIS!!! You will be very disappointed!!!

It’s not Lego. There are some pieces that fit really tight and some loose. The tail wing was tough to mount after assembly because the pieces were loose so it took a few times. I have the Lego Mercedes, McLaren & Aston Martin. This is close to those and displays nice once built. If not for piece fit issues it would be a 5 star.
