    • Nice printer
I bought this printer after having a voxelab. I had converted my voxelab into a direct drive and had found that I was having better print quality. I have had my voxelab printer for a few years and wanted to upgrade to a newer printer. My friend had bought an Ender V3SE and loved it, so I took his recommendation and bought one myself. This printer is a step up for me and I am getting quality prints at faster speeds. The problem that I have had with this printer is the same other users have had. The z stop always seem to be off by 0.5 to 0.8 when using the cr touch auto bed leveler. I have also noticed the auto leveler is not accurate enough on leveling the bed. The 3vse does not have bed leveler knows so you have to use the autobed leveler and then run a bed level test and fine tune it using the software. It took me about 45 minutes but I was able to fine tune the bed and the z axis and produce nice quality prints. I am mostly happy with this printer but feel the software needs alot more work when it comes to bed leveling and the z axes. The software is seems to be to random in leveling the bed. Got this for Christmas and wanted to play with it before writing a review. This is a great beginner machine for any pre teen to adult. With the auto level bed, it cuts the time out of hassling with it before printing. Easy to put together and start printing. We have made so many things with this already and we are thing of getting another one. Hope this helps someone else just starting out. ... show more

    • Motherboard went after 2 weeks
Everything was alright out of the box.. had an issue auto leveling but it fixed itself somehow don’t know what happened… it wouldn’t read the last upper right corner auto leveling… and would keep doing the whole process over and over again about 10 times until it stopped and a QR CODE would pop on screen saying how to replace the motherboard… but I went around that and still printed without auto leveling… then I updated the firmware to 1.0.6… everything went to hell… selected English.. then it tired auto leveling and wouldn’t let me do anything until it autoleveled… and… same thing… loop until QR code… but this time I was stuck… tried going down to 1.0.4… nope… wouldn’t let me… as soon as I put card in with the old firmware error pops up “error (0000)”… so yea.. had to return… ... show more

    • Look elsewhere, there is NO SUPPORT
Your first clue is the only number they provide is Country Code 86. Yep, that means you need to call CHINA for support. I finally got through to chat "support" and their first response was "Send a video". If you can't understand a clear description of the problem, a video is not going to help. To their credit, they did escalate and provided a ticket number. Whether that makes a difference is to be determined. So, I've been contacting email support, five times over the past week, crickets. For the record, firmware 1.06 did not work, and 1.04 got the printer responsive again, but the printer still does not function properly. Update: finally heard something. The problems are that the Z-axis would not go down programmatically (it would be done manually), the firmware would not load, and then a print job that was supposed to take two hours finished in a minute (obviously, it did nothing). Printer works great but the pei bed sucks. My prints keep getting stuck to it and ruining the bed. I'm on my 4th bed and I've had this thing for a week. Only using creality parts and creality pla filament. It is a mystery.
