I would size down at least 1-2 sizes. I ordered a medium and could have probably fit into an x-small in this particular shirt. The lighter stripes are more of a tan, then a white. I like the material.

I was expecting a thinner fabric, more of a typical t-shirt, but this shirt is made of thicker stretch fabric that will work well in the fall and winter. I chose the basic black one and the fabric is smooth, it almost seems like it should have a bit of a sheen to it, but it is a nice matte fabric so it doesn't look too much like polyester. This top has a basic oversized t-shirt shape with long sleeves, but the thick, smooth fabric elevates it from a typical t-shirt or sweatshirt. It's definitely casual, just dressier than a normal T-shirt. I like the dropped shoulders, they are not quite a Dolman sleeves but give that same vibe, which in my opinion is comfy and flattering. I would say this top runs true to size. I ordered up two sizes because I wanted it extra loose like an oversized sweatshirt. That worked out and this will be the perfect top to throw on over work-out clothes when I leave the gym and need to make a few stops on the way home. But the nice fabric means it will also look cute dressed up with colored velvet jeans and black leather riding boots. The neckline is cut wide, so the straps of my racerback workout bra or tank top will peek out, which I always think looks cute, especially if my tank top is a contrasting color. This top is not super long; even with me being only 5'1" and ordering two sizes up, it just covers my behind. So I'd say this top is more of a regular length than a tunic length. Since it is 95% polyester, it didn't fade or shrink at all in the wash, though I've only washed and dried it once so far. But I've had great luck in that area with polyester, so I don't expect to fade or shrink. Overall, this top is a nice basic. I'm happily surprised by the thicker, smooth fabric that gives this top a lot of versatility to be dressed up or down.
