I was able to mount and wire this into my bumper by myself and it was great. It even stayed mounted AND continued to work perfectly fine after a spare tire fell off a vehicle and smacked my bumper while driving! I have it disconnected now because I’m going to install it somewhere else but I will be using this as long as I can. I’m extremely happy with this purchase!

The media could not be loaded. Overall I think these are quality lights for the price. The lights came out of the box and the the housings feel solid and quality built. I quickly hooked them up to 12v power source to make sure they worked out of the box, don't install them and then find out they don't work. Also while you're testing them be careful not to be staring at them...they are VERY bright. The instructions are useless you can see that in my image of them, 3 pages and a few sentences a page. The install is pretty straight forward if you are familiar with wiring, wire routing and tinkering. If you are not there are about a thousand youtube videos for this kit and you should be able to get over what ever hump held you up. The way the light cubes mounted to their brackets had me scratching my head so to the interwebs I went and had the correct install method in about 5 minutes. As other reviews have noted, this kit DOES NOT provide enough wire or an interconnect for the cube lights. The harness that's included is everything you need for the bar but nothing for the cubes. I knew this but still found it annoying that I had build a wire harness for the cubes, I do a lot of electrical work so I had the wire, connectors, and consumables and I STILL found it annoying. For others this might be a show stopper requiring more online shopping for parts or a trip to the store. OEDRO could kick the price $10 include another wiring harness and doubtful that price jump would scare anyone away at this price point. I would have given 5 stars if that was the case, but without it the install is more difficult. The switch that is provided with this kits is pretty weak. It's a button toggle that has the wire coming out of the bottom of the switch housing and the switch has an adhesive back. This means that you surface mount the switch and then have to route the wire on the surface to hide it. I didn't like this so I snipped their switch off (saved it for a future kids project) and installed a rocker toggle into the dash with the wires behind the dash. You can still use their harness so you can unplug the switch easily. Also in this install I used Dean's connectors to hook the light umbilical to the wiring harness. I think a lot of people hard connect the wires but I prefer to be able to disconnect stuff easily. This makes it cake for light swaps, troubleshooting, or if you want easy access to 12v source outside of the cab for something you can make adapters to hook up to the Dean's Connectors. If you use Dean's you need to be able to solder, if you can't then you could use crimp-able blade connections. Either way if you put a connection together outside of the engine compartment or cab make sure you seal the connection. Either shrink sleeving, electrical tape, or silicon. I included an image of where I put the Dean's connector for the light bar, it's where the loose ends of the wire from the light bar come out. As for brightness...WHOA! These lights are like carrying a sun around. You can see this is the videos I have on here. My iPhone doesn't do my headlights justice, they are aftermarket LED headlights and through the camera they look pretty weak but when driving I feel they provide really good light. When you turn on this light bar it lights up the landscape like you are at a movie set. They work really well. Overall happy with the purchase, well worth the money. Instructions could use some work and OEDRO should provide wiring harnesses for all lights. Those are the only shortfalls. Oh the whistle, all light bars whistle. Use some tape, foam, whatever on some of the lower fins to help reduce this. Take care not to cover them all up, they are there to pull heat away from the LEDs.

Bought this for our 2014 truck that has the old style headlights. Our son had put these on his truck and I liked how it lit the road without blinding other drivers. (you adjust the bar to hit the road at the right level). Unfortunately my hubby did not want this attached to his bumper (he is a plan wrap kind of guy) so I returned it and purchased a smaller 22" that firts INSIDE the bumper. He was "ok" with that and I am much happier with better lighting on our dark counrty road.

Took a look on other options, definitely not spending > 1k to buy US made lights. Installation went smooth. There was no manual, but it is hard to put on in a wrong way. I didn't use included wiring and relay - connected everything to separate fuse block. It does whistle, I used Door Edge Trim from auto parts store ~12$. I put trim on several ribs, but the one which actually stopped whistle was the lowest one. At night photos you can see how bright stock xenon lights are and then with windshield lights and with LED bar. Pros: - inexpensive - seems to be reliable, got in a rain couple times already, so far so good - BRIGHT - comes with relay and fuse block if you don't have separate switch block in your car - I like 3 rows of LEDs a lot - small lights light sides of the road real nice - packaging was great, a lot of protection and insulation Cons: - There are no wires for smaller lights, I just bought 20feet of waterproof wire from home depot for couple bucks - Gaskets included are a bit too small and slide into windshield light mounts. I bought couple M8 gaskets from home depot. - whistles, but easy to fix

Okay so let me start by saying I have very mixed reviews on this. Bought a 6 gang switch box to clean things up with this purchase. Absolutely fantastic. So right out the box I noticed fin damage. Wasn't about to wait for a new one for that. Then noticed the absolutely ridiculously short wire coming from the light. Had to splice in mid windshield so that looks crappy and unprofessional. Then the pod light short wired the same way. So very hard to have a clean professional looking job like that. Then the pod mounts are basically non existent. Every other pod setup comes with a bracket that mounts to the adjustable bracket. This did not. Very disappointed. Will be ordering different pods that come with actual mounts. The lighting for the light bar though is fantastic and very very bright. Lights up everything in front of you as if it's daylight. Very impressed. Pod lighting eh. Maybe because of the mounting height. Brackets for the lightbar are well made. Bar doesn't move at all. As with all light bars the whistle is something all of them should have addressed by now. Like it's been years and years and none come with silencers. More have the construction been modified to eliminate the whistle. So yes very mixed feelings. It's mounted it's done. It works.

Iv only used this light a few times and it stopped working already , it's been longer then a month so I never bothered trying to return it. Other then that it was (WAS) a very bright light and it seemed well built.
