I recently acquired an original owner 1995 Jeep Wrangler. The original owner had upgraded the bumpers at some point with the tubular style but the hitch received did not have d-rings for my safety cables for my jetski trailer. So, I ordered this right away and amazingly it arrived two days later. I watched a gillion Youtube videos suspicious it could not be that easy to install. I can wrench a little bit, but I usually mess things up. Waiting for Fedex, I easily removed the 8 bolts from the existing bumper and sure enough, putting the new one on was relatively simple for it probably took me 90 minutes in my garage by myself. The only comment for someone to consider is that I have the popular BF Goodrich tires and I needed to go buy a spacer for the spare tire because of the lip of the new bumper underneath. No bigs but something to think about. In fact it looks so good and easy to install, I went ahead and ordered the matching front bumper today. ... show more

This bumper was very simple to install, I did it all alone in about 2 hours. It is sturdy and has a great finish on it. This bumper makes all the difference and now my Jeep has that mean look from the front instead of the basic bar in front. the only negative is I wish the tow hooks had the same finish/color as the bumper instead of the silver color, I ended up purchasing separate ones to match. ... show more

I ordered these for my 2006 Wrangler, I had a unique challenge having a blue ox tow bar. This looked easy with some help to install but I had some questions for the manufacturer. The customer service was horrible (no phone numbers) and could not get any one person to clarify. Several emails were sent describing my questions on a proper install with the blue ox tow bar and each time an automated email was returned saying they don't recommend towing with the bumper which is not what I was asking. After getting nowhere for 3 weeks I decided to return although there was a $60 charge. Once the return was started Oedro all the sudden sent an email offering to help and if I kept them I would get a $60 credit to use. This made no sense to keep if I can't use and I again explained my possible issue after they requested info of the issue with photos showing the problem. A different person responded and only sent return lables and never addressed the issue. I would have loved to install these bumpers, they are awesome looking and appeared well made and would have been a great edition to the jeep. Bumper looks good and it's heavy it seems like it is well made I gave it three stars because with the correct spare tire on it it hits the lip on the step and causes my door to the rear to be at an odd angle. Screws up closing has cracked my rear window. So now I either have to cut a little bit out of the brand new bumper which I should not have to do even though it should not cause a problem with the actual bumper itself integrity however I really hate doing that after purchasing it and putting it on it's not exactly easy to install they have no real directions and no body to speak to you if you have any kind of problems it's not a direct boat on for a YJ as they suggest. Yet after engineering it to fit now I either have to take it off cut a section out of a brand new bumper or go down a couple of sizes on the spare which will make it look like you're riding the conestra wagon with one wheel that's 12 in the rest at 18 in knowing this now I would go with another bumper for another company I like the way it looks I give it a 50% on easily install however I would give it a negative star on actually being a direct boat on for a YJ you will probably have to engineer it some to make it work especially if you have larger tires on it and have to have a larger spare just bear that in mind.. ... show more

Extremely easy to install...awesome looking bumper...I was originally going to get the rear bumper with a spare tire holder but loved this one so much I had to order the rear one to match my front. The box held up great through shipping. It also came with a thick layer of protection inside to protect the bumper. All the hardware matches up with where the factory bumper bolted to. I plan on adding a winch very soon. I installed it alone and used a floor jack on one side and myself on the other and it worked perfect. ... show more
