These won't get your kids to the Olympics but they will be a hit for pool time. I don't expect them to survive for years, but it's nice having a large pack of them around the pool for spares and backups.

I do have a fairly large face, so maybe it is mother nature's fault for not tailoring me around these goggles which i liked very much. Given this variable, they did not work for me. The fog aspect is somewhat understandable for a $4.99 goggle (i mean bleach WILL eat out MANY things), so that fragile inside lens+coating cannot possibly stand-up forever to a potent acid. Especially priced $4.99 & up/down. As far as the leaking part, i was not the lucky one. They felt fairly comfortable, but it seemed the way (at least) these goggles hold water out of your eyes is by way of suction/vacuum against the eye socket. Well, it did not last long, as in, maybe 3/4 of an Olympic sized pool (100m?) and then fog & water rushing in. So, they were unusable for me. I had to send them back, even though i really liked the lens and the cut... It's a trial& error process, apparently... so, they are going back.

Every year it’s the same thing, all the kids and family all asking for goggles to use in the pool. I usually end up getting cheap goggles in one or two packs that honestly are pretty poor quality. These goggles solve a couple of problems. I can buy a 6 pack of pretty good goggles that I don’t mind giving to other people to destroy, but I feel comfortable using myself. These are actually pretty decent goggles. I have paid way more for goggles that were no better. Plus, the 6 pack comes with a variety of styles including mirrored lenses. I swim laps in the pool during the summer to supplement my workout, but I am not an everyday lap swimmer. I find these goggles work just fine for me. The trick to get these to not leak, if they do, is to try all the different nose pieces. Even if you think you have a wide face and think you need a bigger nose piece do not be surprised if the smaller one works better for you. I think this has to do with the shape of the lens cup, which provides a wider field of vision than most other goggles. All in all a decent bunch of goggles for the pool.
