Last update!!! :) Paddle worked great for steering a raft while floating!! Would definitely purchase again, and I appreciate their customer service. I even tried to pay for the 2nd paddle but they refused. Happy camper here!! :D Update! The company reached out to me and sent me a new paddle at no charge. Excellent customer service! :) The new paddle seems to be ok, I can actually feel it lock now. True test will be on the water, but for now, satisfied customer. Seemed great at first, but there is no way to lock the paddle in position when it is in extended position, so it's not much good that it extends if you're using it. Kind of defeats the purpose!

I wasn’t aware of the alternative uses of this paddle! It seems small, and fits perfectly under my kayak seat for emergencies! The extension shaft was a nice addition to the product 👍 My wife thought so, too! A light smack on the bottom has now turned into a full Big Papi home-run! “BoSox” is what I think she said. Anyway, it’ll get me back to shore if I lose my main paddle. Great product!

We have not had to use the paddle as yet but we are like that it is collapsable and when extended seems very sturdy. Easy to store on our boat.

The collapsible paddle was wonderful for the dingy. It paddles strong and well for a compact paddle. The extensions did slip a little when I put 200lbs of pressure downward, but they never slipped when paddling. Easy to use, light weight, and performed well.

Ordered 2 for the lake. Paddles work however hubby had to modify it as the paddle kept retracting when pressure was applied to it....using other to push off rocks, etc. A simple screw in place to keept it extended works well!
