Description

Power is the word most commonly used to describe the Boost Canoe paddle. It’s outrigger shape lends to moving a great deal of water and giving you ultimate control of your canoe. The shaft is made of an anodized Aircraft grade aluminum to handle any amount of abuse. The blade has a large powerful face with an aggressive dihedral angle to give you stroke efficiency while not being fatiguing. This is a great, affordable, ergonomic paddle. I was a bit skeptical given the lack of reviews, but it’s exactly as it looks in the picture. Nice and lightweight as well. Two quibbles: 1) I REALLY wish they made a straight blade version of this paddle! I know some people prefer bent shaft/blade paddles, but I find that the slight angle means I need to extend a bit more at the end of my J-strokes to get enough counter steer. 2) On the palm swell, my paddle had some noticeable cosmetic imperfections, including a fairly deep cut. I almost returned it simply on principle, but my eagerness to get out on the water this spring to try it won out. TLDR: I highly recommend this paddle but would prefer a straight blade version. ... show more

Great entry level lightweight canoe paddle. Get some bright colored grip tape and you are good to go. If you want the best, you will be spending 4x the amount of money.
