This contact paper is as beautiful in person as it appears in the pictures online. It is super smooth and looks great once installed. Unfortunately, it is incredibly thin. As a teacher, contact paper is the best way to apply personality to my classroom, so I have used many different types. This one was so much thinner than anything I have used before, that it just kept folding and sticking to itself. It does have really good adhesion. Once applied awesome, but a good chunk went into the trash because it kept sticking to itself with every little movement. You get what you pay for it looks like someone printed the image off a printer where it looks kinda dark gold marble it's actually diffrent browns I am not going to use it for the project I needed it for and it's very thin ripped when I was trying to take the tap off so it already has a hole in it really it's only good for the trash ... show more

The contact paper itself is a high quality and thick paper but the only reason I am rating 4 stars instead of 5 is the color saturation is not accurate from the photo to the actual product. The photo shows deep turquoise superimposed on aqua and lighter turquoise with gold veining when the actual color is not that saturated and reflects more a light turquoise mixed with aqua and gold veining. I used this liner to cover my electric outlet covers in my bathroom. I am not sure how it would do for lining cabinets or shelves as it is sort of thin and it seemed to rip easy. Good price..durable.not as easy to use..paper very thin & sticks like a permanent fit..Paper kept folding over as soon as I removed backing & sticking to other part..Nice design..gonna buy more try again..I think it will be nice as soon as i get it right
