    • One note is muffled
I love this drum, and it came to my house early! I recommend ordering drums from sources such as Amazon and other trusted companies than straight off of Face Book, like I did in October. The only problem I have with this drum is that the sound on one of the higher notes is definitely hung up on something and doesn’t seem to have its own tone. Sounds muffled and indistinguishable. I think it can be corrected, but I want someone who knows what they’re doing to work on it for fear that I will over correct it and can’t go back to square one. ... show more

My 5 year old is musically inclined but we wanted something that wouldn't hurt US while she played with it. This is such a rich beautiful sound and would be entirely appropriate for an adult too

    • Would be perfect if all the notes worked
12 of the 13 notes sound fine. The 13th note, the smallest tongue, sounds terrible and like the body of the drum sounds when struck with a drumstick. It does not appear to function at all. That is why I gave it only 4 stars. I specifically chose this one over the others because it is precision laser cut and I thought that might make it more functional. I was mistaken. It also does not come with a tuner, as someone else said it did.. The drum as a whole is beautiful to look at, the case is nice, but must be handled gently. ... show more

The drum was well packaged and delivered quickly. However, I found that the highest note was dead, which ruined some of the songs I had been trying to play. If the highest note sounded perfect, I would love to give this drum a 5 out of 5 rating.

The media could not be loaded. I love the sound from this drum. The higher notes do require hitting the sweet spot but it is really easy to do. This set came with a very nice padded bag, a song book with at least one song most every person has heard or knows :) also it was not heavy at all.

    • It’s easy to enjoy no matter what your skill level is !
I have two drums at this time both have there own sound . This drum tune is more chime like with a longer resonation giving it more of a chime sound .I enjoy both you don’t have to know music in order to make music that you can enjoy . My grandsons also enjoy my drums.
