I love that I found these adjustable skates for my son and daughter who are ages 4 and 8. They are designed for both boys and girls and are adjustable for 3 different sizes so I’m assured that they will get great use out of these skates for a few years. That’s a great value add for me. The kids love that after hours of skating, their ankles don’t hurt. That’s due to the ankle support that the high top boot provides along with safety straps across the ankle area. My son recently celebrated his 11th birthday. For a few months leading up to his party any time anyone asked what he wanted he would tell everyone roller skates. I’m not sure what brought this on, but he was determined he wanted skates and would’ve been incredibly disappointed if he hadn’t received any lol. I ordered these as he’s a growing boy and his shoe size is constantly changing. He’s between the boys largest size and the mens smallest size dependent on how the shoe is made. It was daunting considering ordering normal skates without him being able to try them on. These seemed like the perfect solution as you can make them larger or smaller. I was still a little nervous since I wasn’t able to measure his foot (without giving away the reason) to go by the size chart for ordering. I took a guess though and it paid off. These fit him perfectly at the smallest size, which means he’ll be able to continue to wear them for quite some time since they can be made larger. I was a little concerned they would look odd since they’re adjustable, but they look cool and he was thrilled with them. Add on the fact they light up when you roll and he was in love. They offer a good amount of ankle support between the shoestrings and different clasps, but are easy enough he can put them on and take them off without assistance. He put them on immediately after opening them and surprisingly picked it up right away and never fell. Considering he’s got my coordination I can only assume they’re very easy to balance in lol. My 10yo loves to skate with these type of quad skates over inline skates, but his feet are growing so fast I hesitated to invest in a new pair of skates that he was just going to grow out of soon. I love that these are adjustable in size! We ordered a large, as he was right at the top of the medium size and that would kind of defeat the purpose of having adjustable skates if he was going to grow right out of them! The large at the smallest setting are a perfect fit. He skated the rest of the summer in them with no problems. When he wore them to a birthday party at the skating rink, everyone was ooooo-ing and ahhhh-ing over the lights! We even had dads asking if they made these in dad sizes! ... show more

These skates were just what I needed to feel like a kid again! The skates adjusted to be just my size. I have wider feet, so it was nice to be able to extend them a bit. The light up wheels are also SO cute! Definitely going to use these to just go for a skate whenever I’m in the mood!
