  • Unsurpassed form and function...
Color: Matte Black/Prizm Black Iridium
I purchased these goggles at the end of last years ski season. I've been skiing since the early 1990s, and in all those years I don't think I've ever seen a cooler looking ski goggle. Of all the products in the Oakley line, I think this is the best looking goggle they make. When you're wearing them you kind of look like something out of Star Wars, and you'll definitely stand out from the other skiers/boarders on the mountain. But style means nothing if they don't deliver on performance, and these definitely deliver big time. I bought these goggles because my previous "fog-free" goggles just didn't cut it. These Oakley's are truly fog-free. In addition, they are extremely comfortable, even over the eyeglasses I wear when skiing. The extra wide lens offer great peripheral vision (although I lose a little because of my strong prescription eyeglasses). If you're going to purchase these goggles, I highly recommend spending the extra coin and getting the Prizm lenses. They offer clarity in a greater variety of light conditions than the standard lenses. I got mine in the Black Iridium, which is ideal for brighter conditions, but served me well in overcast conditions as well. For this coming season I might get a Rose lens (lens are interchangeable) for snow and extreme low light conditions. I should add that the photo of the Black Iridium makes the outside of the lens look white, but in reality it is a highly polished mirror surface (which looks uber-cool when on the slopes). Two hundred bucks is a fair chunk of change to spend for a pair of goggles, especially when you can get a cheap pair for a fraction of the cost. But you get what you pay for. These goggles are extremely high quality, and they offer unsurpassed field of vision, clarity, and fog-resistance. If they're in your price range, I highly recommend them. ... show more

  • Highly recommend - watch a YouTube video to learn how to change the lenses proficiently
Color: Matte Black/Fire Iridium
These are the best ski goggles I've ever owned. The field of view feels like it's literally twice as big as my other goggles. I haven't had to change the lenses yet, so I can't comment on the ease there. If you're having trouble, watch one of the million youtube videos. I own 10+ pairs of Oakley sunglasses and the one thing I can tell you is you can't be afraid to be aggressive with the lenses to change them. They can take it. The Prizm lens options for different conditions make this goggle a must for serious skier/snowboarders. I have a Giro Seam helmet, and these goggles fit perfectly with those, no gap between the helmet & lenses. Overall, highly recommend. EDIT/UPDATE I have changed the lenses on these multiple times and I can't believe people are having issues. It's a tight fit, but in my book that's a good thing. As I mentioned in the earlier part of the review, watch a YouTube video and you'll be amazed at how easy it is to change them. I did it on a lift last winter in Utah. Spend the 3 minutes before complaining about the ability to change lenses.... or go buy magnetic lens/goggle combinations that fall off all the time and have half the lens quality of Oakley. ... show more

  • They're good, not great....
Great goggles. I was THOROUGHLY impressed when I hit a fat branch doing some hard backwoods ridding and came to find there was not a scratch on the googles. The tint looks awesome too. Fits well with my extra large head and helmet. PRIZM - honestly don't know if this is a gimmick or not, still can't tell. Jade Prizm lens is too light for sunny days, and too dark for cloudy days....sooooooo not sure what they are going for there. Wish there strap was hinged so it could move with your helmet/head better. These goggles WILL fog up on wet/stormy days. In the middle of a snowy wind storm, the goggles literally froze over leaving a thick sheet of ice on the front completely blocking my vision (happened to my friend sitting next to me as well, same goggles). I looked over to my other friend and his Smith iox (or whatever they're called) and he could see perfectly clear..... So that kinda bummed me out. Overall, great quality in terms of durability and looks. Not so great in utility and function. ... show more

  • Perfect lens for low light or poor visibility
Color: Matte White
I have several pairs of Oakley Flight deck Prizm goggles but was missing a lens for low visibility. These Prizm pink lenses are perfect for that situation. In low light, fog or snowy conditions they really excel to give you great viability of the terrain

  • Amazing goggles, but one thing bothers meโ€ฆ
Color: Matte Black
Been needing an upgrade for a while since Iโ€™ve been stuck with $20 goggles. But boy, these were so worth the money and upgrade. It is very comfortable, easy to adjust, and overall looks really awesome. Looking forward to using this a lot this season. EDIT: forgot to mention that trying to change the lens on these things are a real pain, I feel like, no matter how many videos I watch. That is my only gripe about this set. ... show more

  • Perfect goggles but don't bother with multiple lenses
Color: Matte Black
Hands down the best goggles i have ever owned. Peripheral vision and comfort is amazing and the new Prizm lens technology works great. I did a back to back comparison with my wife who was using Crowbars with a Hi Yellow lens (formerly my favorite flat light lens) on a really snowy no contrast kind of a day and we both agreed that these blew the Hi yellow lens away, it was like night and day. they do have a wider range of light that they work in too, when the sun comes back out you can keep wearing them unless it gets supper sunny. My only complaint is that despite the claims of easy lens switching. i believe Oakley claimed it was like a zip lock bag....... Yeah right..... i took the lens out very easily and an hour later i was still fiddling with it trying to get it back in. this is not a quick switch solution, I find the crowbar and splice far easier to switch. so if you think you will be encountering different conditions, take 2 sets of goggles. ... show more

  • DISAPPOINTING - missing lens
Color: Matte Black/Prizm Black Iridium
goggles are great but package did not come with 2nd lens. Have purchased these exact goggles for both of my sons over past year and always has a second set of clear lens... contacted Oakley support and did not offer any assistance other than 35% off coupon for something that was already purchased. Amazon directs me to Oakley and Oakley directs me to Amazon. Very disappointing. ... show more

  • To be able to see the terrain clearly
Color: Matte Black/Prizm Black Iridium
I liked the fit and being able to see whatโ€™s in front of me on the mountain. Used the goggles for snow skiing.
