This is my 3rd adult paint by number kit to do and by far my favorite. The paint quality was thick and applied smoothly and I had no trouble covering the numbers on the canvas. The supplied paint brushes were just ok, I mainly used my own. Some of the colors that were used in particular areas were not quite right. For instance part of the wolf’s body was coded for a green color, and it looked bad and did not match the image on Amazon. I painted over it in a color that made more sense. Also, too many colors were too similar. I painted all the tiny, intricate color areas, trying to be precise and then the color next to it is barely any different. At one point I mixed in some white so there would be a bit more differentiation. I did all this while looking at the Amazon photo and trying to match it. However, for the low price, I can’t complain and that’s why I give it 4 stars!

First time I’ve ever tried and it was so soothing! I am not an artist and it was incredible to create something so beautiful. It will take many many hours so just put on your favorite podcast and relax. I did end up needing to buy some higher quality brushes about half way through.

Reviewing: Nzhidey Flowers Paint by Numbers Kit for Adults (kit # MT12779-US - no frame) This is one of the latest kits I've gotten and, being on a floral kick, it is a picture of wild flowers in a glass vase sitting in front of a window on a counter. I like floral paintings; they're always so colorful. Anyway, this painting does not have a frame - you'll have to get that separately. The canvas is folded into a neat little square so has folds and creases in it when unfolded. These will have to be taken out before beginning to paint, otherwise the painting may develop cracks in the paint when trying to frame it. All that work damaged before you get to enjoy it. This immediately drops its rating to 4 stars. Besides that, I really like the picture. I checked out some of the other pictures offered by the same mfg. and would be happy to have almost all of them (just a couple I wasn't crazy about). The paint included is shrink-wrapped to extend it's shelf life, so it is probably very fresh. There are 3 cheap paintbrushes in different sizes to accommodate the different sized spaces on the canvas. Do check the brushes for wayward bristles and cut any off before using. Don't want paint where it doesn't belong. There is a paper rendering of the picture as well, with all the spaces and numbers to look at if needed for reference. Also included are 2 wire triangles to attach to the back of the frame (once you get one) for stringing a hanging wire across. So, except for the folded canvas, it is a decent and inexpensive (less than $4.00 at time of review) paint by number kit, capable of providing hours of pleasure while you relax with some down time, and gives you something to enjoy for years to come.
