Much better than a nude which I was anticipating. It’s a beautiful blusher nude of i had to describe it and I really love how it compliments my features without detracting from my more pronounced eye look. I think this liner is my new go to. It does come filed extremely sharp so massage it into your finger a bit to soften it which will make it easier to apply. The media could not be loaded. Like others have mentioned, the shade coffee is definitely not what you’d expect given the name, it’s not brown or coffee colored rather it’s a reddish pink neutral. Swatched in the photo from top to bottom is charlotte tilbury pillow talk medium, nyx liner shade coffee, nyx liner shade mauve. It’s a perfect liner to wear with Pillow talk imo they’re super similar and both are the perfect your lips but better shade for us light-medium neutral toned people. In the photo on my lips, im wearing just the shade coffee liner with a clear gloss. For tone reference, my hair is naturally ashy dark blonde and my foundation is UD stay naked shade 40nn. Seasonal color analysis wise, I sit somewhere between light summer and light spring. I tried this liner in the shade mauve and although it was almost identical to the natural color of my lips, it was a little to purple and not really the look i was going for. If any of that sounds like you too, try the shade coffee (or natural)!!!!! It adds just enough color without being overwhelming. I personally have such a hard time finding lip products that suit my face without washing me out or making me look like a clown, but this shade really works. Quickly became a staple in my routine and i pray it’s never discontinued. I believe coffee is only available on amazon so that’s something to note as well. Since posting my original review I have added a few more shades to my collection including peekaboo neutral and natural. Natural is my new favorite, it’s the perfect pinky nude and strikes a balance between the shade coffee and mauve which is exactly a mlbb shade. I love wearing it paired with NYX butter gloss in the shade Tiramisu for an effortless natural everyday look. Peekaboo neutral is the warmest of the bunch, a touch warmer and a few shades lighter than coffee. It also leans slightly orange on my skin, but still very wearable. Overall love these liners and at such a great price having a collection of a few different shades is very doable so we love that. ... show more

NYX has great products overall. It's a nice creamy texture, goes on easily, and is flattering, however, I was looking for a "my lips but better" color, and I think this is just a little too dark. I have used this for years. I can use just the pencil on my lips and it is not drying. The color is true and it stays nice but doesn't slide off your lips.
