I love the material and overall the pants fit beautifully. Very flattering everywhere butt... on both legs just below the butt was this outward fold of material that created a horizontal ridge of material under each cheek.

I have a pair of NYDJ jeans that I really like. I’m 5’8” and 130 lbs. Long legs, short torso and no butt, so finding jeans that looks good is a challenge. I ordered a size 2 in these trousers (same as my nydj jeans). These white pants fit but they don’t really tuck in the tummy like the jeans do, likely due to the linen-like material. They looked ok - not great - even though the length was good which is also a challenge for me. I sent them back bc I thought the pants were two flimsy for my needs (very lightweight and wrinkly like linen) and just not flattering enough to keep. I think I’d be happier with a pair of white “Marilyn” NYDJ instead of these. ... show more

The fit on these linen pants was a surprise in that I am 5'9" and the length is perfect as trousers, not ankle pants or crops. I've had several pairs of NYDJ before and can wear an 8 or a 10, but these 8's required a belt, maybe because there's no stretch. The linen is a nice light weight for summer. They are definitely my go-to summer pants, especially since skinny jeans are on the way out and are too hot for summer. ... show more

I love linen and that these pants have lycra added since linen can be so stiff. I have several pairs of these pants in both 12 and 14. The 14 fit well in the hips but too large in the waist. The 12's are better after stretching out through wear during the day but still a little snug in the hips. The problem is the color khaki -- it shows underwear lines, ripples, etc. Linen is pretty forgiving but these still lack a flattering look. ... show more

Nice material and color. Like the fit on leg and flare. Just a little stretch in fabric to make it comfortable without weight. Haven't washed them yet so can't say how material holds up in wash.
