I am 5'2", about 100lbs and this lab coat in XS fits great. I washed in warm water and dried it in the dryer, no problems. The material is soft. There are slits on the sides to allow you to easily reach your hands into your pants pockets. The outer patch pockets are a good size. The material is lightweight, doesn't feel too bulky, has a slim fit, and is a nice white color. I don't think I could wear a sweatshirt or a sweater under this coat. Exceeded my expectations! First of all I hate wearing these because they are always ill fitting, way to big on me and not flattering. I have to wear a lab coat for work and I honestly bought this only because of the price since I knew these never flatter me, I didn’t want to spend too much! Well this is really nice! I usually wear medium in shirts/tops (I'm 5'2ft. 36c. Waist 29 inches. Hips 40 inches). These things run big, so I had to return the medium I first purchased & repurchase a small. I was refunded promptly and the return was smooth. Now in regards to the Lab coat, there are a few loose threads around some of the buttons but overall it's really good and fits a lot better than the medium. Came super clean, no marks or smudges which is great. Something I think is important to mention. This Lab coat is hot as hell! I tried it on in my home and instantly began to sweat. If you live in hotter climates/states be mindful of this. It's a thicker material, not flimsy or thin like some other ones so that's a plus, but having to wear this for a prolonged time in the heat/hotter temperatures may be a problem. I bought this for my Bruce Banner cosplay. The coat is of good quality. It has three large pockets on it with holes in the sides for easy access to your pant pockets. Exactly what I was looking for! The size was true to the sizing guide. If you’re shopping based on your clothing size, I might size up just for a little wiggle room. The material is solid, opaque, seems durable and fairly wrinkle resistant. I’m using it as a lab coat for cub scouts, and it held its own against the Diet Coke and Mentos experiment. I bought the classic white and it fit the mold for a classic scientific lab coat. SO THIN, so not great for protection — even a bit see through. Fine for photos or costume wear if you steam it, maybe, but not suitable for my purposes. Followed reviewers’ sizing and got an XXS — but this was definitely too small if you want to button the coat or if you’re curvy or athletic (I wasn’t wearing scrubs under for the try on and there’s no way I’d be able to move my arms/shoulders comfortably). For clarity, I’m 5’1” with a 26-27” waist, and hourglass/athletic frame. I would guess an XS or S would have been better, but I plan to return it, instead. ... show more
