It is not actual solid gold. It is real gold but not solid it weighs under 10 g so it is hollow and very thin. It will get tangled probably about five times a week but it's easily untangled you just have to not force it if you force it you're going to start bending the metal and just like the paperclip it will break I purchased two necklaces from this company the second one I learned my lesson and I learned how to take care of it as if it was just glass which kind of sucks but it's lasted a year now my first one didn't make it 6 months. It is very easily broken so if you start seeing it look like it's about to snap return it if you're still in the return window ... show more

Looks decent, really like the box clasp it feels sturdy and tightly fitted without too much slop. My biggest issue was with shipping/packaging and presentation. Came in an ultra cheap box with no padding, in a zip lock plastic bag like they were shipping drugs, and had a really bad kink in it that took several minutes to un-kink. Luckily it didn’t do any lasting damage, but it very easily could have with the force required to get un-kinked. Spending $1000ish dollars for $350-400 worth of gold I guess you’d just expect a little better…. ... show more
