I ordered the Nuosiya USB interface just so when someone comes over to the studio I don't have to crawl to the back of my rack and midi them up to my 8x8 interface. And for that it's perfect. I can now just midi them up straight to the front of the PC and we're good to go! And it works just fine. No need to mess with any additional drivers makes this midi interface perfect for plug and play situations. I'll also plan on taking it with me when I go out to play live just as a backup for my gigging rig because it works flawlessly as a plug and play interface. Now the additional good news! This Nuosiya Midi Interfece also works on my Android tablet too! I was hoping it would do that. There are more and more decent music/synths/production apps on the Android plateform and my tablet is naturally loaded with some apps. I got this as an alternative/backup in case the USB port on my keys goes bad. Hooked it up to the midi ports and the other end to an adapter or two in order to go straight into my iPad. The iPad recognized it right off with no issues. The cable has plenty of length to stretch pretty much wherever I need and seems solidly made in every way. No complaints from here! ... show more

Thank you, I can finally hook my midi keyboard back up to my computer properly. In the past, I've been using it via USB to access my midi. It also acted as my power source for the midi as well. Now please keep in mind, that there is the possibility that you will need to dig out your old power adapter for your midi as your computer may not recognize the keyboard through your midi setup without an external power source. And while this may not be true for everyone using these cables, I felt it was worth mentioning. I'm an old school kind of guy, so I've still got a lot of midi equipment still sitting around gathering dust. Hopefully with these cables I can get some future use out of them. I have a very old Turtle Beach MIDI cable that still works pretty well, but wanted a newer cable for backup use. This updated version has a USB-C native plug but also has an adapter for USB-A. I tried the USB-C on my XPS 15 computer but it gave the connect and disconnect tone soon after. So I used the USB-A adapter which worked fine. Not sure if the USB-C connection wasn't as secure on my computer or not as compatible. Anyway, I was able to run Cakewalk to send MIDI to my P-515 Yamaha digital piano. There is a blue LED on the cable which will flash green when MIDI data is sent or received. It is plug and play as are most MIDI interfaces, even my ancient Turtle Beach cable. ... show more

I have a keyboard that has a USB-C output for MIDI connection and I needed to use the keyboard to control a sampler that only has 5-pin MIDI jack. This cable works perfectly and I don't feel any lag or delay. If I come across anything else, I will update this review.
