The media could not be loaded. These were my favorite all around shoes, I’ve owned at least 3 pairs and they each lasted about 2 years. I put these shoes through everything, form mountain climbing, hiking trails, downtown shopping, winter, summer, beaches, they held up fantastic. They fit so comfortably even after many hours of walking and standing. I’m very disappointed to say that these old shoes were my last pair, as the quality control has slidden dramatically. The new pair has back soles that are already falling off from the factory, brand new won’t of the box! I have no idea how these made it past quality control. There is also some scuffing on the rubber, possibly because they’ve been worn and returned once already. You can see from my 2 year old par though that even after thousands of miles, the soles are still intact. There’s fading, but no holes. I’ll have to keep wearing this old pair for awhile longer while I shop around for some better replacements. There’s a chance that these shoes are better in a store, but I’ll never buy them from Amazon again. ... show more

I cannot count how many times I have purchased these shoes. I would buy multiple pairs from Amazon, Kohls, wherever I could find them. They were amazing for XW feet like mine. I have been a customer for over 10+ years. The last two pairs of these shoes - the seam ripped in the same exact spot. The first pair ripped within two months, I couldn’t return. The pair that I have in the picture ripped on the first day. What happened to the production quality? I have pairs of these shoes produced a few years ago that lasted 1-2 years with serious abuse that never ripped open. They used to be great quality. I hope somebody from the manufacturer sees this review. Something really needs to be done about your production or you were going to lose repeat business. I am not the only person that is talking about the poor production quality lately. I would really love to get these again but I need to know that the quality has been improved. ... show more

I love Nunn Bush, especially this particular brand, KORE. However, a couple of months after purchase the shoe has deteriorated noticeably. This is vexing because I've bought this brand before and the shoe lasted a very long time. Makes me wonder about the materials in this particular shoe. You can judge for yourself. I've posted two images of the shoe. In one, the outer shell is coming off. Nunn Bush and the KORE product line are in the bottom of the shoe, as well as the offending deterioration of the skin, so you can see that I'm being truthful. The other image says that the upper shoe is genuine leather. I personally don't understand how the skin can come off of a genuine leather product. ... show more

The shoe splits at the front after only several months of wear. This is the second pair I've had where this has happened. I wish the quality was a little better. Otherwise, it's a comfortable and nice looking pair of shoes.

I like the shoes, they're comfortable and the sole is comfortable for walking. A little softer than what I was thinking it might be. It is a leather shoe but it is not the highest quality of leathers. It is rather shiney like others have described but it is not patent leather. Some of the pictures of how it is coming apart remind me of Naugahyde. A high quality leather is not going to peal or separate like that shown in the pictures. I would imagine it is going to require a little different care though to keep it from cracking or splitting. A good leather conditioning formula that is not oil based would probably do it but I'm no leather expert. I do want to point out that this is not an oil tan leather; it is a dry tan leather so oil based shoe care products cannot be used. The price is right for these shoes though and it always holds true that you get what you pay for. Overall I'm happy with them so far.     • DON'T BUY THESE SHOES - They're Shoddy Quality!

These started out as nice shoes in both appearance and comfort. However, the crease in the top of the left shoe, after only 6 weeks of wearing them, became painful as it struck the top of my foot in the wrong place and, the soles are pretty worn down already - very disappointing when I wore them for only 6 weeks and then only for work for an 8-hour shift 5 nights per week. I switched back to my off-brand shoes for comfort and durability, and I'm irritated that I can't return these due to being past a ridiculously short window of time. I owned a black pair of this brand, size, and model of shoe for about a year now. Unfortunately they saw some rough times and I had to retire them to the great shoe store in the sky, and I was gifted a new pair of Nunn Bush shoes in the same size but a different model. I didn't see the need to buy two pairs of black dress shoes, but my brown loafers also needed replacing and thus I opted for the Cognac colored version of my original Nunn Bushs'. They fit exactly like I expected and it immediately made me think back to my time at DSW when I first came across these, which was some nice nostalgia. I love the fact they look so professional and dressy, without the need to be flashy or gaudy. The lack of laces is also awesome, as I don't like needing to constantly fiddle with my shoes as I walk in them.
