This pen is incredible for what it is. I had one other glass dip pen i bought years ago that just plopped blotches of ink down in a thick ugly manner. This pen is not like that. It lats down a fine line, a touch of feedback to know your writing, and it holds a lot of ink. I was able to write 7 & 1/2 lines before It dried enough for redipping - and that was with the nib dipped only halfway. This pen is consistent and a pleasure to write with.
