This is a quality product but be aware, it says 10 feet but will NOT fit a 10 foot kayak. Barely was long enough to fit my 8 1/2 foot kayak. I was going to buy two right away but wanted to check it out before buying the second one for my 9 1/2 footer. Glad I did, it would never have fit the 9 1/2 foot one . They need more size option. 10 feet to next size up of 16 feet is not much of a option. Too bad, I really like the product.

I got this to to cover a Feel Free Lure 11.5 I store in an open barn. It fits and I'm sure it'll do an excellent job keeping the kayak clean while stored but it was very challenging to install by myself. This design completely covers the kayak, top and bottom, with a zipper closure. The Feel Free is a very heavy kayak at right at 100 pounds and I struggled to get the cover over the kayak and the zipper zipped by myself. In retrospect I probably would rather have had a regular boat cover that stretches over the top with a draw string and straps for this kayak and I may be able to use this one like that as it did come with a couple of rap around straps. On the other hand, if you have a lighter kayak and you want to keep it well protected this would probably be perfect. The material feels durable and the light grey color looks nice.

My kayak is just over 10 feet and was wider than I read in the description for the 10’ cover, so I ordered the 13 foot. Probably should have gone with the 10! The cover was extra long but was very easy to put on. I need it to cover my boat for the season to keep spiders, etc out. The quality is good, and I really like the zipper feature, completely enveloping the kayak. I am overall very happy with this and am confident it will do what I need.

This covers my canoe just as I had hoped it would. There is plenty of room with ample extra space to overlap the fabric. It is easy to put on and stays covered even in strong wind. It looks like it has been made well with quality materials. I'm curious how this will survive our winters and being covered in deep snow.

I have an eddyline rio kayak which is just under 12ft long. this cover is much larger in width than my kayak, but the length works fine. the material seems great and it was easy enough to slide my kayak into the cover. works just fine for my needs protecting it over the winter while in storage

The quality of this canoe cover is exceptional. It is a very thick fabric that is completely water resistant. The material will definitely keep harmful UV and sun off the canoe. The zipper not being full length makes it somewhat of a challenge to put the canoe in, but getting it out is super easy - just drag the canoe out and the cover stays on the ground. Initially I got the 16ft version, but had to get the 18ft version for my Old Town 164 canoe. If you are using an Old Town 158 or 164, get the 18ft version. There is some excess material, so what I have found works best is slide the canoe all the way forward so the cover is tight on the bow, then take the slack of the stern and wrap it up at the back and secure it with a lashing strap. This cover is squared off in the back for square sterns, so there will likely be some material to wrap up regardless of the length of your boat. I used a couple extra lashing straps to secure the cover from flapping in the wind or drooping. Overall this is a great cover. Think of it like a consumable - you're sacrificing this cover to the elements so that your expensive investment stays out of the elements. The only real negative I have to say would be the zipper flap is opposite of how it should be for storage (a canoe gets stored with gunwales down and hull upward, causing the zipper flap to be the wrong way around and potentially trap water). Overall I am happy with the piece of mind my canoe is protected and I no longer have to struggle with applying UV protectant (i.e. 303) every few weeks to my canoe.

This is a beautiful cover that fits a 16' L x 37" W kayak perfectly. There is no extra length so make sure you are 16' or less. The material is a silver gray and is definitely heavy weight fabric. The fabric must be water sealed as water droplets bead up on the surface and it is very difficult to get the air out of it if you roll it up for storage. The stitching is done very nicely. The zipper runs about 1/2 the length and it is not waterproof, but it has a weather flap to protect from windblown water. The bow end is made for a pointed shape, but the stern is squared off for flat ended canoes. My boat is 32" wide and there was plenty of extra width. I like the heavy duty handles that are strongly reinforced and stitched to the fabric. The extra nylons straps are a nice touch so you can pull things tight when storing the boat long term. I really like the cover. The descriptions and images shown on the webpage are accurate. I'm happy with what I received and would recommend this cover for kayaks less than 16' long. I have no experience with fitting it to canoes which can be as wide and have more freeboard than a kayak.

Notice: This product was earned from the Amazon Vine program. This is an unbiased review. We have a kayak and a canoe that are about the same length. It fit both lengthwise and covered the cockpit of both adequately. Widthwise there was a lot of extra material on the kayak. It kind of reminded me of shoe covers worn by medical staff in surgery - one size fits most and gets the job done, but it’s a bit frumpy. I would have preferred a more tailored cover to fit the kayak to prevent accumulation of debris and creepy crawlies in the folds but I understand all boats are shaped different and a tailored fit would need to be model-specific. This is a generic cover to fit “most” which is why it’s shaped the way it is. The material is robust and neutral gray-colored, and it’s easy to get on and off - partially because of that extra material :) It does what it says it does and I expect it will last a more than a few years. I hope this helps!
