I used this with my child during naps, they were able to relax without marks on their face. The shield was just under the nose which helped in breathing. One of the best features was they glowed in the dark so they were easy to find at night. As a parent who's gone through their fair share of pacifiers, I can confidently say that the NUK Orthodontic Pacifier Value Pack is a lifesaver! While it's true that they do show some wear and tear over time, I bought a lot in this value pack, so I don't stress about it too much. What matters most to me is how well these pacifiers work for my baby, and they deliver on that front without fail. The orthodontic shape provides comfort and supports healthy oral development, and the soft silicone nipple is gentle on my baby's sensitive skin. Despite my baby's constant sucking and chewing, these pacifiers have held up remarkably well. I like these and baby likes these. They're easy for baby to latch onto. They do leave a mark around the mouth after awhile, but that goes away after taking a break for a bit. Depending on frequency of use and force of baby's suction, they seem to last 2-4 weeks before the nipple bursts and water will seep in when you wash it. It's impossible to dry it out once that happens so I just dispose after a few days to avoid bacteria or mold from building up in the nipple. The price of the value pack is reasonable, so I think it's worth it to dispose the busted ones and keep new ones on hand to make sure they stay squeaky clean and as close to sterile as possible for baby. ... show more

These were our favorite pacifiers for the newborn phase. We tried a bunch of different types of pacifiers and these were my daughter’s favorite. I liked that the nipple was small and shaped for babies mouths. I can see why these are orthodontically designed. Luckily my daughter wasn’t too picky about pacifiers but these were the first ones me and my husband would reach for. This is the only pacifier that we purchased the next size up, but the newborn ones lasted until she was 3 months old. Also the bee one has a glow in the dark handle which is a bonus for finding a pacifier at night. ... show more
