  • great sim racing bucket seat
Color: Blue
Im 6'1" 235 lbs 36 inch waist jeans and a little thick around the middle. I went for the large size in blue. I fit in the seat fine but you might be really tight if you are much bigger in the hips . the seat has broken in a bit with a few weeks of drive time and gotten more comfortable and comes with side brackets and some hardware. the seat is stiff and always for good driving position and gives good support when getting on stiff 100kg loadcell brake. the bottom pad can be a little stiff after a few hours of continuous driving but has gotten better as the seat has started to brake in. the cove material is soft and comfy and looks good the sparkle back is a little extra imho but my gal loves it. as this is a true bucket seat it can get a bit hot and sweaty as there is little to no airflow because it cradles so close to your body so a fan or ac is a great idea. pretty much all racing bucket seats are this way. they are designed to keep you in place and help drive fast, deal with loads and keep relatively comfortable while doing so. I would not recommend putting in actual car especially if you plan on tracking it due to the fact it is not fia certified and can't for sure be deemed crash safe. and wont pass tec bottom line if you are looking for a bucket seat for yoour sim look no further as you save a ton over an fia certified seat of similar style and construction and will fill this roll perfectly. unless you are trying to 1-1 your actual car setup for training where if you have the extra dough laying around i would put in another of your actual race seat ( if your actual seat is a few years old and out of fia cert take it out and put it in your sim then new one in the car) for fiberglass seats the fia cert is generally 5 years from date of manufatuing so be wary of this and go somewhere in person or email and ask for most recent if buying a seat though mail to get most recent seat so you can get full life in your racecar. ... show more

  • Great sim seat
Color: Purple / Black / Gold Flakes
Bought this for my sim rig. I didn’t buy a pre built rig so it’s all custom. I got the purple and it is so great looking. The seat is comfortable and honestly was well built. I’m 6’3” and around 250. My waist size is about a 38 and I fit comfortably in here. I’m not used to car seats so I’m not sure what fit everyone else is looking for but this one seriously fits me well. I know they are either a reseller or knock offs but I really like this one. Comfy, and stylish. ... show more

  • It’s an okay seat. First one arrived defective.
Color: Purple / Black / Gold Flakes
The first seat arrived defective. The rear mounting holes were misaligned .25” vertically and about .125” horizontally from each other. This made the mounting brackets sit unusably crooked. There isn’t enough play to adjust for this in the brackets and I never even bolted it up. In the process to ask for a replacement, Amazon asks that you contact the manufacturer first. I did that and got this response: “I regret to inform you that we do not sell our products through Amazon or to them either. We have no involvement with Amazon. NRG Innovations” Come to find out that Amazon is on their Do Not Sell/Do Not Buy list and NRG won’t have anything to do with a product purchased on Amazon because of their Fake, Counterfeit, and Knock off products alert posted under their Authentic Guarantee section on their website. I’m not saying I got a fake but just understand this is a possibility and that’s NRG’s stance. I went ahead and requested a replacement anyways figuring worst case scenario is I send both back. The second one arrived much flatter. Since I had two seats I was able to compare quality on both. There seems to be a difference in the feel and color of the 2 seats. The first one was slightly darker and the material felt softer. The second material felt a littler more heavy and the color was a little lighter. It was impossible to get this in a photo, in fact when I took the photo I kept getting a blue/black dress situation and the seats came out blue in the photo, but there was a difference. Both came in a the same box marked Prisma, but the first one had Prisma packaging tape and all the information(model number, weight, size) completely filled out on the box. The other box had most of those fields empty and it had regular packaging tape. Maybe that doesn’t mean anything but it’s something I noticed. I decided to keep the second seat because it bolted up nicely and seemed to be pretty straight. It has been comfortable so far. I’ve put about 6 hours in it with 2 hours being the longest stint. I give it this rating because of the defective first unit and the lack of confidence that I received an authentic unit. Again, I’m not saying I got a fake but at this point I don’t know. It’s a working seat in the color I wanted. I’m overall happy with the purchase. ... show more

  • I didn't expect it to be this nice
Color: Black -ULTRA
I'm so stoked this seat is actually really nice!! I was expecting to compromise somewhere but it's a really solid seat. Nice fabric, comfortable bottom cushion shape, gorgeous back with the glitter, especially when you pop the hatch and the dome lights hit it. I'm 6'4" 215lbs with a 36" waist. It fits me great! I can't actually spread my shoulders out broadly but that's normal for me in most seats, and if it were any wider it would hit the door. I can comfortably fit in the headroom with a normal slightly hunched posture. I touch the roof if I straighten completely up. I couldn't fit a helmet. This is installed on sliders tho, I installed it in my 350z using the included brackets and the Buddy Club Low slide rails made for the Z. I had to modify both in order to make it work. If I end up needing a helmet I'll have to ditch the slides and get it way down low but then my wife wouldn't be able to drive it. ... show more

  • Fantastic For Sim Racing
Color: Black - M
If you are looking for an excellent seat for sim racing, look no further. It mounts easily to 80/20 rigs and is very sturdy (one thing to note is that once the seat is mounted, you will not have access to the underside bolts for back-and-forth adjustment; you will have to remove the seat for adjustment). I initially had some lower back discomfort, but that went away after the first session. There is no adjustability on the seat itself in regard to lean angle. ... show more
