giving this 4 stars because I received this bed frame really dirty. I took some shout and a tooth brush to it and it worked a little bit but not completely. we had family coming over so I had to assemble the frame. very sturty bed, very time consuming to put together. wish we just bought another platform so there would’ve been less assembly but other than that, great looking bed. put a small leopard rug over the frame to hide the stains. just sucks spending almost $500 on something for it to not be wrapped properly. my box was damaged and had a TON of tape on it. ... show more

I purchased this daybed for my Mother, who has some back issues that make it very uncomfortable to lie on her back. The package arrived a day earlier than projected, which was a nice bonus. It was very heavy and bulky though, so make sure you have help moving it around. Assembly wasn't too difficult, though requiring an Allen wrench / Hex Key made things more difficult. Once everything was set up it was amazing how much bigger her room felt (over an older clunky queen bed). The two drawers underneath are perfect for holding a second set of sheets, pillow cases, and extra blanket. The neutral gray tone of the daybed works with most room coloring. The frame feels solid enough, but durability will need a lot more time to test. Overall this was a great product for the price, and Mom was able to finally sleep in a bed instead of bouncing between the couch and recliner. ... show more

The instructions to this made it, incredibly easy to put together, all thr hardware was organized and I like that it had well written instructions along with pictures. The drawers look like they could break easily but I do really like that the drawers have a screw that connects to the base so my kiddo can't just pull them open whenever which for me is another benefit! I got a memory foam mattress to go with it that fits really well. We decided on a daybed instead of a couch for when we have friends that stay over, and if we are on the couch most of the time we are laying down anyways so it's exactly what we wanted. It looks like a couch, it doesn't have a gap between the back bench piece and the frame to hold the mattress which is what ultimately was the tie breaker between getting this one or one of the several other daybeds I had been looking at on here. ... show more

I needed a new bed for a new apartment. I got a full sized because the room is small. It came well packaged in a box which required two people to lift, not because of weight but the size. The box suffered the usual shipping hazards, but the bed inside was fine. I suspect it was due to the upholstery. The color is gray, but so light that its really almost just beige. I love the simple vertical tufted design. And I was able to assemble it by myself. It took a few hours without rushing, and I split it up into 2 days. I did the bed first and then I did the drawers on the next day. In the beginning, I did make a mistake with one of the slats upside down when putting it together, and I ended up breaking one of the plastic pieces to take it apart. However, I realized afterwards that I probably could have left the plastic piece in place and just loosened a rail instead. The 4 drawers on the bottom on wheels are really nice to have for extra pillows or covers. The drawers are not on a track and comes out fully if you ever need to or just to get under the bed if something rolls underneath. There are bolts that the drawers latch onto in order to stay in place. The bed has seemed to be sturdy enough for 2 people and sometimes the kiddos like to snuggle in too. I have an 11 inch mattress on it. I probably wouldn’t jump on it though because the wooden slats underneath doesn’t feel like the strongest. I like that it is upholstered on all sides and corners, as I recall how painful it is to hit the corners sometimes fumbling around in the dark to use the bathroom. I will start with the cons as there aren't many, first this is more a cream color than grey but I figured that before I bought it, so not really disappointed just something to keep in mind. Second this is kind of expensive for having plastic drawers. The plastic is pretty thick and durable, but still plastic, one sharp corner and you will have a hole, the upside is that there is a metal cross frame under the plastic so if it becomes a problem you could cut some plywood to fit and insert it. Since this is potentially fixable it's not a deal breaker for me but you would think that they could include something more durable as the base of the drawer at least. Now for the pros, and there are a lot more than cons, it looks great! So pleased with how it came out, it took a while to put together, like most of the day, but I was doing it slowly to ensure it was done right and mostly by myself, just my 12 year old daughter to help, which you can probably guess wasn't much help, lol. No power tools needed, just an Allen wrench which is included, very simple and well organized instructions. Everything was packaged well and nothing was damaged, though the box is heavy. it has a metal frame that connects all the pieces and it feels very sturdy put together. I read some reviews that didn't like the slats, too flimsy, they do seem like they could break but all mine were intact and we installed them easily and so far they have held up, it feels like they give the mattress nice support. I really like the way the drawers have wheels and secure to the bed frame, it can be a little awkward to unhook them if you are on the bed but nothing too difficult and it gives the mattress a nice frame so it stays in place. Everything considered I am very pleased with this purchase but time will tell how everything holds up. ... show more

The color is more off white than light gray, for starters. My walls and curtains are white. Didn't use the slats so that I could fit in my adjustable base and mattress. The base rubs against the bed frame, so it may end up pushing out the frame and breaking it. Time will tell. But the material on this bed frame looks really nice and is pulled taut. ... show more
