Made of real wood. Easy to put together but definitely goes faster if you use a drill. Just don't be overzealous like me because the wood did crack but I totally blame that on myself and not the product. There were extra screws included which is nice. Perfect fit. If anything, I wish it were more low profile. I could sacrifice another inch in depth but I also don't have a modem to contend with. I have a router and router extender for all of the hard wired items on my house. I got a different desk that no longer covers up the mess of cords this is was a great find to help clean that up. I covered up everything included the outlet so then I'll have only a power cord popping out that runs to my adjustable desk.

The media could not be loaded. When I tell you this thing is perfect! Why does my apartment have the WiFi outlet half way up the wall. Ran straight to Amazon and I knew someone must have invented something for this exact reason. I’ve had this for over 2 months now and 0 problems. The router airs out and is not over heated. Easy to install, I did it myself. My router is too big so the door remains open but I’ll take that over dangling cords! Thank you!

Happy with the overall product, but screwing it in is nearly impossible due to how close the screw is to the side. I mean, if I hadn’t already drilled holes in the wall by the time I figured this out, it would’ve went back. I actually gave up trying to get them fully screwed in, but it seems stable enough. Best luck I had was with a super long and skinnyish Phillips head screw driver, YMMV. Otherwise, it’s good. Construction and finish are pretty rustic, as they say. But it’s sort of charming.

Easy to assemble, great quality for the price. Hides the ugly router boxes in my living room well. Would recommend a drill for installation, but not required as it includes all you need in the kit.
