Will take 1.5-2hrs and better to pre-chill (almost freeze) your wine but it does great and will overfreeze if you let it… have made about 8 batches now for various mixes, wines, tequilas… We would def but it again!

The media could not be loaded. I originally was liking the machine. However, it was short lived. About my 4th use, I noticed it was getting extremely loud. Outside of the noise, it stopped dispensing. This machine is not cheap and is less than impressive after minimal use. I contacted Nostalgia Customer Service, they advised that the noise is "normal". I downloaded a sound meter and it's as loud as busy traffic. I was able to here the noise at the far end of my 3600 sqft house. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This frozen machine is very stylish and looks like a kitchen appliance. I used 3 bottles of 16.9 cold Pepsi and it took about 45 minutes to finish. The spout dispensed the Pepsi perfectly. Move the knob to the left to close and move to the right to slowly dispense the amount you want. The instruction are in reverse (mistake in the manual). The fan and lights will run the whole time until you turn off the machine by unplugging it. This machine does not have a power on or power off button which means you have to Unplug the machine to turn it off and Plug it in to start. This could be a problem if you have to plug it in under a table and unplug it when finished. My other problem is while testing the first time, the machine started normal and then started roaring like a freight train. I stopped it cleaned the machine and put the blending auger back in and then it started to Squeal the whole time. I adjusted the lid to the auger and it stopped. Then I tried the unit again and again it squealed and roared and then it was normal. I am not sure if I have a defective machine or not. I have found no reviews so I am not sure if I am keeping it or not. I would like a replacement but the return method is return only not an exchange. The price jumped up another $100.00, I bought it for $489.00. As of right now, it is running normal but for the cost of the machine how long before the auger breaks. One year warranty. Manufacturer feel free to contact me please. Anyone else have this machine. ** UPDATE: I did buy another one and returned this one. The roar and the squeaky noise is not completely gone but much better. The lid and auger fits better. Noise level depends on how much liquid you put into the machine, the more the better. One more thing, I bought the Sugar Free Substitute Sugar (Jolly Rancher Watermelon and Apple) it works just fine in the machine. Just remember some Sugar Free Substitutes will give you a stomach ache if you consume to much of it. I love the look of this machine and I am keeping it. Next is the Ninja Machine. ... show more

    • What you need to know
This takes a long time to make a slushy. The slushy is perfect when finished. -You must make at least 6 cups no smaller amount or it wont freeze. -50 minutes to make 6 cups -75 minutes to make 12 cups (the max) So for a party only the first 12 guest get a drink the others will have to wait an hour half to get theirs. - It can get very loud during the making, if your lucky its the sound of a dishwasher but then to a blender on high sound for the other half of the process. - Once finished their is no way to keep it cold and slushie like. You must dispense all of it or let it start to melt and turning it back on intermittently to refreeze again. -ZERO ALCOHOL or Non Sugar drinks can be put into the machine. So no wine slushies or margaritas. You must make the slushie pour it into the cup then add the alcohol at the end separately. -Easy to clean and to add more juice to the top while its running if need be. ... show more
