Just received my Coke toothpick dispenser and it's pretty neat. It arrived well packaged and unbroken. Toothpicks are dispensed vey smoothly and it looks very cool sitting on our kitchen counter top. Yes this is made of plastic and it would have been extremely excellent if it was constructed completely of metal but if you don't plan on throwing it across the room then there is no reason that this won't last for years to come. I really love this little holder. We have the Coke bottle shakers in the wire caddy too, and they look cute on the table. What I love about this toothpick dispenser is how it "functions"! Some of these toothpick or straw dispensers with the turning knob tend to dispense more than one at a time leaving quite a mess. This one turns precisely so that only one comes out. The top lid lifts up by the itty bitty silver handle and it is very roomy and easy to fill with toothpicks. My kids and husband LOVE that I'm not always asking them to bring me back a toothpick anymore. We used to have an open cup-like holder by the sink, but I was going crazy seeing how easy they were to get dirty by hands touching them when reaching for one. Plus they collected dust. This is a wonderful solution while adding some "coolness" to the boring toothpick ritual. :) ... show more
