I was attracted to these, by looks alone. When receiving these, in a typical cardboard shoebox, I thought them even more attractive, in person. However, when putting them on, I found I needed a shoehorn to get into these. Although I ordered my typical size, which is usually roomy, these turned out to be on the small, tight, and narrow side. So, I do “not” think these run true to size; and am sorry I did not order a size larger. My next test was walking in them. Wow, amazing walking comfort. I felt propelled forward and that I could walk faster, with complete and utter comfort. The arch support is wonderful, they are much more comfortable than my triple digit cost big name shoes. Features & Considerations Sturdy Durable Breathable Lightweight No aroma Excellent arch support Removable insoles Narrow toe box and shoe Incredibly comfortable No adjustable closure Cushioned orthotic like insoles Not easy to slip-on and to slip-off Interior does have some seams All the above at a competitive price Type of shoe These shoes are designed for athletic/walking use, they are incredibly attractive and perform wonderfully both indoors and outdoors. Looks? These shoes are stylish, athletic looking; modern and fashionable. I was drawn to their color. Break-in period? Other shoes can be as stiff as board and needs weeks to break-in, not these, they are walkable soft immediately. Construction? Their construction, from the toe cap, all the way back to the heel tab [that little tab of fabric we put our finger through to help pull-up on the shoes to get it on] is perfect. With a lot of padding, including at the ankle, I think they are comfortable. Being picky I have no concern with the arch support, it feels solid, rather than mushy and hollow. Footbed/insole The removable/pull-out footbed/insole/sock liner is made from foam. So, lots of comfort and there is no foot movement, slipping, of the foot, inside the shoes. I would have appreciated an extra, but not was supplied. Insole The insole, noted above, also is an important component, needing to allow feet to be stable inside, to avoid slippage inside the shoe. Typically, the insole in high-end shoes, will be molded EVA, short for Ethylene Vinyl Acetate, or PU, short for polyurethane, foam. In low-end shoes, it will be die-cut EVA. These appear to be molded EVA like, but made of cotton, but I am no expert. It appears molded, versus die cut, because there are molded rises/ridges that make-up the inner sole ridges (which typically aids comfort and assist in avoiding foot slippage). The cotton innersole and the shoes are comfortable. The innersole is not slippery. Uppers The uppers are made of a soft fiber material and breath well. I would avoid walking in wet conditions though. They seem water-repellant, but I am avoiding getting these soaking wet. It’s a personal preference to keep them clean. Outer sole/Outsole EVA stands for ethyl vinyl acetate and is a foam material, like rubber. It is stretchy and has rubber-like qualities such as softness and flexibility. Hard plastic like rubber is what I would describe; the outer sole, i.e., the bottom component of a shoe that provides grip and traction, grip like a tiger’s paw. The outer sole is somewhat hard and contoured. Again, with a rubbery plastic feel. The listing noted this shoes’ sole was listed as being made of “EVA,” which I would agree with. They grip better than average. The soles do appear die cut soles and glued on, rather than completely molded. When it comes to high quality shoes, the importance of the soles gripping any surface is strikingly important. These shoes do grip. Fit? Small and tight, I should have ordered a size up. Bottom-line Too small, narrow, and tight. The shoes have a modern and fashionable; the shoes have an attractive color; plus, they are lightweight, flexible (no need to be broken-in), soft, stable, roomy, adjustable, durable, rugged, comfortable, eye appealing, and at a good competitive price. Better, I did not develop any sores, calluses, or ulcers while wearing these shoes; further, a previous toe sore did seem to heal timely, rather than drag on, so, blood circulation does not seem to be an issue while wearing these. How arrived In a nice sturdy and durable oversized brown cardboard shoebox. Shoe trees They had cardboard like shoe tree inserts for the front half of the shoe. Weight Each shoes weighed in at 10.7 ounces, which is about 20% lighter than a typical branded shoe. Tongue The tongue of the shoe, the part under the strings, is a one-piece design. Aids in getting the shoe on faster and there is even a tab on the tongue to assist. Strings They are there for looks, rather than use. They are elastic like. Same color. Heavy duty. They are a tad slippery though, they feel as if they are a synthetic material. They cannot be tied. Giftable? Yes, but the shoebox is a bit plain. Brand? Nortiv 8? Not familiar with that name. Country of origin Made in China. Soles Multiple patterns. Rating? These are a four (4), because in my opinion, they do “not” run true to size, so, these turned out to be smaller, tighter, and narrower. They are so incredibly comfortable, however, kept these from going three (3) star. I hope my thoughts added a bit more useful information.

These arrived to day and I had on my $100 Skechers max cushion elite shoes at the time. These are not quite as soft and cushiony as my Skechers, but they are are not bad, especially for the price. I wore them all day and look and feel great.

I’m usually a size 8, but I went with an 8.5 in these because you never know with Asian sizes, and I think it fits me better than an 8 would. Besides being my favorite color (I ordered the purple and their pastel lilac), these are supremely comfortable and well made. The laces are stitched in elastic so you don’t have to tie them or worry about them coming untied. There’s a thick white sole for a shock absorption, they’re slip on, and there is all kinds of interior support in the insole. Arch support, sure, but also padding at the ball of your foot as well as around your ankle. I don’t think I’ve ever had a shoe with so much support before. The ankle support is *I think* to help prevent you from accidentally rolling your ankle, which is something that I do more than I care to admit so I truly appreciate the extra support. These shoes are cute, they breathe because they’re mesh uppers, and they’re lightweight so you could almost forget you’re wearing them if it weren’t for the fact that they are more comfortable than being barefoot in my opinion. I 100% recommend these to everyone.
