I own 2 pairs of these shoes and i cant say enough good things about them, i have been wearing them everyday for my hikes, i hike between 2-5 miles everyday, i live in the rocky mountains of wyoming, a lot of rough terain. We were pounded with snow, way more than usual, and bitter cold, walking through the snow was no problem, my feet stayed warm and dry. I love these boots!! there the best boots I have ever hiked in, never had to break them in, great ankle support, plenty of toe room. I really like these boots but I did have to size up. I wear a 6.5 but got a 7.5 so I could wear thicker socks but even w/ thin socks, my toes were right up against the front so I sized up to an 8. The insoles are comfortable but only have minimal arch support. The tread is really good though - I got great footing during the hike. They kept my feet decently warm but I will wear wool socks if I need to ensure my feet are warm enough. I did not check out the waterproof-ness but as long as the water contact is minimal and brief, I think they'll do well. I got the gray ones and really like the color. ... show more

I'm a dog walker who walks/hikes 15-30 miles daily, 5 days a week. I bought my first pair of Norti's last September, and they held up for 4 months, which is really good considering my profession. I bought my second pair this January, and they only held up for 2 months before the soles wore out. Other than the soles wearing out, I'd say these are great! I have used this shoes every day for two weeks and have NO complains. They are Comfortable. They Keep my feet stable, dry and protected. I like that they are somewhat chunky. It gets hot with my feet in them quick but it’s because of the water proof functionality that I wanted. (So ill take it) I also like that they are the color of mud/dirt because they don't look as dirty even when they are. And the touch of pink adds femininity to them. ... show more

The pair I received are not waterproof. Walking in snow for work, my insoles, socks, & feet were soaking wet within several minutes. Insoles still wet after sitting in heated room for 48 hours. Very comfortable for wearing for 14 hours though. Excellent traction on ice, snow, slush & the slippery metal surface inside delivery truck! Kept my feet warm when they were dry in -2Β° as well.
