bought these boots for about $60, and they exceeded my expectations. I used them on the Devils Dome Loop Trail in the North Cascades and later on Half Dome in Yosemite. Altogether, I’ve put around 75 miles on them over a variety of terrain including snow, mud, dirt, rock, and some ice. For a $60 pair of boots, they performed incredibly well. They were comfortable right out of the box, provided good support, and never gave me any major issues on the trail. I wear a size 12, and the fit was great. After roughly 75 miles, they’re definitely showing their age, so I probably wouldn’t take this particular pair on another long multi-day backpacking trip. That said, I feel like I got more than my money’s worth. One funny thing I noticed: my friend and I both bought NORTIV 8 boots at the same time (he had the men’s version). On the granite near Half Dome, he was slipping in a few places where I wasn’t, so traction may vary a bit between models or individual boots. My pair, however, gripped very well throughout the trip. Overall, these are a fantastic budget-friendly hiking boot. If you’re looking for a comfortable, capable pair without spending a couple hundred dollars, I think these are hard to beat.

I needed a hiking shoe to go on casual hiking trips & decided to give these a go. I can wear a 9.5-10 depending on the shoe & with these I went with 9.5, the 10 was too big. They are comfortable & have a decent grip in the woods. I have flat arches but so far have not had to put an insert in these shoes. They are waterproof, to an extent. If you have to trudge through some mud & wet grass/woods, they're perfectly fine. I did cross a creek in them that was ankle deep & they did hold up but I could feel the dampness from doing so. I would recommend doing that regularly, I think eventually water will seep through. If you're just someone who needs a casual hiking/walking shoe for camping or day trips every so often, I think these are a good purchase.

I use these boots for work. They are comfortable, not too heavy and didn’t need to be broken in. I ordered a 1/2 size larger so I could wear them with thick socks. It was a good decision. They were comfortable the first time I wore them. The price was good too. I’m ordering another pair for backup.

Very comfortable boots. Right "out of the box", I did a six mile walk without blisters. I did need to play around with the tightness of the laces around my ankle as my previous boots were not as high. The footbed is not super cushioned, but for me that is not a problem as I add custom orthotics. There is pretty good arch support though, even without orthotics. I wavered on size as some reviews mentioned they run a little large or recommended sizing up, but I stuck with my usual size 9 and they fit perfectly with enough room for my half-foot orthotics. Good room in the toe box too. I haven't tried them yet in wet weather. I didn't buy them for the color or style, but both are good. The boots perform well on loose gravel and asphalt roads giving good support. They feel sturdy without feeling heavy or bulky. Pic of the orthotic to show that it is thin and doesn't take up much room. I am very happy with these boots—as good as, if not better than, the major name-brands I have had in the past. Can't beat the price—five stars!

These shoes are awesome! I will recommend these to anyone looking for hiking boots! I sized one whole size up to account for swelling! Didn’t have to break them in at all. I hiked HALF DOME in Yosemite with these and not one blister or cut! 10/10

These are amazing boots, but I need to return them because they are narrow in the toe box. I really wish the toe box was a bit wider or they offer wide option because I don't remember any other boots holding my ankle in place like this one. I just know it would rub my toes and I don't want to injure myself on a hike. It also has nice arch support and insert in it, waterproof. Almost perfect.
