I was very pleased with the quality, comfort and fit of these hiking shoes for the price. I was unaware of Nortiv 8 until I saw these on Amazon. I wanted a waterproof hiking shoe for dog walking in the fall and winter. I wanted to try the quick lacing system thinking that I could swap out the quick laces for regular laces if I didn’t like them. However, after I received the shoes and tried them on I found that I liked the quick lace system. They keep the hiking boots laced comfortably and securely to my feet. I only have about 10 miles on them so far but they are comfortable going up hill and down hill with no foot sliding inside the boots. The boots are light weight and have a very comfortable removable insole. They required no break-in. I ordered my normal size 11 and wear medium thickness socks. The sole had plenty of grip on all surfaces and in wet conditions. They seem durable and if they last a year I would buy another pair. Highly recommended.

It's light weight, light but sturdy materials made boot. Fit is true, in toes feels very comfy,not snug and not loosen too, just as it should be. In mid part of feet they feel secure so you don't lose shoe when you are walking and in upper part of feet you can adjust your tight with shoelace. Grip rubber of sole is very sturdy, mid part very soft and insole is solf too. Materials, nylon is not overly thick which is good for breathing, but still good for protection and water. No leather on shoe, so no added weight too. I changed shoelace for regular, give more flexibility. They feel good walking and hiking. Now at winter they are warm, and at summer time I think they it will not be hot in them. They look like Salomon x ultra shoe, and if this Nordic is made on same princip then it's a great shoe for this low coat. Overall it's absolutely amazing hiking boot with some style.

Bought this boot as I work at a car wash. Pros: It slides on, feels snug and is waterproof to about mid foot. Cons: seems a but narrow on my foot, and there is little to no traction in wet conditions. Still a solid boot for the money. I would recommend.

Very comfortable boot, lace locking system seems to be cheap and broke after a month of wearing them and they are not waterproof, after being in the rain my feet became wet, I can’t recommend buying this boot.

I have had these less then 2 month and they are already leaking and letting in water now to the point that they smell and the interior already fell apart and is uncomfortable to wear I am a exterminator I don’t go wandering thought water all day just like wet grass and small rain storms like come on
