I'm used to paying at least double for a good pair of boots. I usually stick to boots like Red Wing, Carhartt, Keen, etc. The price and quality blew me away. I've got bunions and hammer toes and usually have a hard time getting a good fit. These did not rub anywhere out of the box, quality YKK zippers on the sides, the sole cushioning is the best I've ever found in 40 years of wearing boots, has loops on the heel and tongue for easy pull-on. Worn them only two days continuous but they are anti-slip, non-marking, easy to clean with warm water and a little drop of dishwash soap. I will update as needed but currently these have just become my favorite boots and the benchmark for all future boots at a fantastic price--less than half of what I'm used to paying.

Boots are great. Look good. I have always bought the expensive brands. Red wing and Danner boots. Best way to describe the feel like wearing tennis shoes but support like a Timberland hiking boot. Complaints are not waterproof, but I didn’t expect them to be. Not sure how durable have only had them two days if I have not reposted a review within the next six months, then they have not fallen apart like all my other name brand boots. Will post a pic after a few weeks of wearing.

This is a first impression post! These boots are replacing a pair of Under Armor boots. Both are very similar but these are half the price! Very comfortable and true to size! They seem to have great grip and are made with high quality!

I love the light weigh, the comfort of the boot, the fit is just perfect! I use it every day at the farm and in a muddy area I don’t have to worry about my socks, plus I love how I can just zip down to take it off and zip up once in it! It is worth every penny!

I waited 2 and a half months to write this. They are truly comfortable, but in a weird way. As you work , walk , bend, whatever, they are like cushions on your feet. But as soon as you get home and start your rest, you can't wait to take them off. Fridays they come off, I wear flip flops, other shoes, sandal type shoes, hiking boots, walking shoes, but come Monday morning when I put them back on ....it's like Ahhhhhhhh so comfortable. I can walk in decent puddles with no issues, anything deeper than that...say 1 1/2 inches or deeper, your socks will get wet. Overall, I will buy another pair. Like in the military, two pairs , you swap off every other day. I wear boots out, these are still in great shape. Great value. They also seem to conform to your feet. Great fit.

These shoes are my first tactical boots I have owned. I have owned boots in the past but not tactical. The boot is very light and very comfy. My only issue I have with it is that it’s not water proof and they are not great on wet floors. Other than that, I like them. 1 week in and now the shoes are showing signs of maybe sweat marks on where the toes basically fold when you walk. The shoes are very comfy and breaking in is nice but the material might be cheap and is causing to discolor. Ordered another pair to see if these are defective.

I have purchased several styles of boots from NORTIV 8. These are very lighter compared to some of the other options. They were ready to wear out of the box and needed minimal break in. I wear boots at work and wanted to get these since they were lighter than the other NORTIV 8 boots I own. I got these to wear while riding my mountain bike to work and be able to wear them at work without having to carry extra shoes. I used to wear mountain bike specific shoes, but these have provided a happy medium. I do miss being able to shine the top of the toe, but they are great nonetheless.....exceeded my expectations. Great boots and as advertised!! t They are also true to size and not too narrow. the other boots i own from NORTIV 8 are a wide width and these do not come in wide, but I did not feel like they were too narrow. i would highly recommend them to anyone needing a comfortable, lightweight, and durable boot.
