These are well made, comfortable, and fit true to size. They are well padded on the inside, and the outside of the uppers feels and looks like leather, and in brief testing is waterproof. The soles feel durable, and relatively heavy. They've gripped well so far, but i haven't gotten them out on a mountain yet, that's upcoming. I'll update when that happens. The uppers clasp nicely around the ankles with good support. Overall they're lightweight, hopefully they're durable. The real downside here is, the insoles are garbage. So regardless of your foot type, plan on buying insoles if you want any comfort. For the rest of the shoe, as their nice, at this price, that's nott a big deal, provided they hold up. I just want to ensure anyone considering these is aware.

These shoes are perfect all - around shoes, especially for the colder months. I looked at dozens of sites and way too many shoes and these were the easy choice. They fit well also - true to size. The price is a very pleasant, welcome, surprise.

It's always a gamble buying shoes online. Will they fit? Will they be comfortable? Will my dad ever come back from the store? Wait, no, that has nothing to do with shoes. Anyway, I was apprehensive opening the shoe box when these arrived, expecting a trip to the local Amazon returns drop off location in my near future. But, and I'm not exaggerating here, the second I put these boots on, they were incredibly comfortable; they felt like a pair of shoes I've been wearing for years, well worn and broken in. I wear a 10.5 US, and they sure enough fit just as I would have hoped for a pair of boots: a little on the bigger side to account for thick wool socks. They're also rather light weight, which I hope doesn't translate to wearing out sooner that I want. From what I can see though, the quality is quite good especially at this price point. I've done a few walks to give them a chance to really break in and I've been very happy with them so far. I've taken them though a field of wet grass just to make sure they do in fact keep my feet dry, and they do. Oh, and they have a good amount of grip to boot (hah). So what's to complain about? Not a lot really. Some other reviewers have mentioned that they're glued, not stitched. And for the price, that seems like a reasonable compromise. I had a look at a few hiking boots from more well known brands, and they start at 2x what you can get these for, and only go up from there. I'm willing to give these a shot and see how they stand the test of time. I'll report back if anything changes, but based on what I've experienced so far, these are great boots for a great price.

These boots are made of high-quality materials from what I can tell, and I appreciate that it is vegan leather, which is something I look out for due to it being much more humane for animals. There are a lot of things I like about these boots: 1) it seems very strong & durable, 2) it's waterproof, which is very convenient in many different situations, 3) the laces complement the overall look of the boots as they are very unique & stylish, 4) the fit is superb, fits exactly as it should w.r.t to the sizing, 5) I love the oxford fabric collar, which enhances the style and overall value of the boots, as it matches with the lace, creating a very cool look. However, although there aren't many things that I don't like about these boots, the few are very glaring: 1) the front of the boots have a very weird/unusual/odd look, as if it's sort of deformed on one side, meaning it's really not symmetrical and looks kind of goofy/awkward, 2) it has kind of a cheap, dull look to it, meaning it doesn't really have a shine and the black seems more like a matte black, or a very dark gray (it just doesn't have that pure black look to it), but I attest this to the vegan leather, which of course, cannot match the quality of real leather. Although the positives far outweigh the negatives, I personally wouldn't purchase these shoes with my own money, despite rating it 4/5. If you REALLY like the look of the shoes after careful examination, then I'd suggest going for it, given it is within your price range.

Typically on a shoe, I need a wide size but not for boots. These boots are a regular 12 and my toes rub some on the sides which is an unusual fit compared to boots I've used in the past. The insole is not comfortable and usually I just add one on top of what's there but with these I had to remove the insole that was already inside first otherwise it just felt odd and uncomfortable. I've used better.

The first thing I notices is that these boots do not crease easily! You can try all you'd like, and while they will flex to your will, they will not hold their creases, restoring themselves with no marks or bends. I really love that, which allows me to wear these out and still look good for important occasions. They also feel really comfy, and fit snugly (but not tightly, which is good!) I can slip these on and tighten the laces, no fuss. I'm excited to give these a try in the winter.

I have to admit to being dubious about these boots. Given the extremely physical nature of my work, particularly always moving, always on my feet, I really require a pair of not only comfortable shoes or boots but they must allow for bending, stretching and sometimes even jumping (yes, Im a dolphin) without alot of wear AND dont look downright embarrassing. I have worn these everyday for the past week of work and even through the breaking in 2 days I didnt notice any discomfort or issues working on a hard surface. Anyone who walks on hard surface for their job understand that a good sole on the shoe or boot that withstands a full shift without bringing you to your knees in pain and exhaustion is worth their weight in gold. Many advertise it, many fail. These boots are holding up like an Olympian and I couldn't be happier with them. The fit is perfect. The laces very strong. The tread is great - neither too “cleats-like” or too smooth like chucks. I've walked 80 miles in them already and they still look brand new. I was dubious but Im 100% sold. Only wish would be made of leather and at a 50$ price point, I know that is possible but nonetheless, they get my five stars.
