I use this blanket to cover up the bow of my boat during duck hunting, or on my layout blind while goose hunting. It blends in well with the cornstalks and dead grass around it. The samsquatches can’t tell I’m hiding in the woods while I’m stalking them. My only gripe is that the little strings do fall out which is a bummer but it’s bound to happen. Great way to break up your silhouette.

I would give 5 stars if it was thicker, i used a camo tarp behind it for support. Well worth the $$$ though! Used it to “brush” in my homemade boat blind. The 12x9 piece was enough to cover an entire 1248 boat blind, i just cut it in half. Used a smaller piece for the motor cover and it looks pretty solid. Just added to my boat. Added a mesh camo backing to provide strength. Will see how it goes in the marsh. It’s a great price and provides a good 3D camo look. Shaggy blind material is no longer available. Hope this makes a good alternative. Did cut and resow. Have a 1854 boat. One 9x12 panel cut was plenty for each side. Did sew up the seam. And then fire/melt the threads that were cut. ... show more

Very thin and ghillie material is almost non existent. Leafy camo portion is fine but I can find that alone at a much better price.

Ive been a long time fan of other NorthMountainGear products so this was a no brainer, I was looking for a solution to get most of my blind “brushed” up with out having to spend an extra hour or so cutting vegetation to his my panel blind, this size is big enough for 1 full panel blind by tangle free or the lucky duck 2x4 or any other a-frame style blind. The material is exactly like a ghillie suite so the more you use it the better it becomes. You can use this for waterfowl, deer stands, duck boats, and on and on. Knocked it out of the park guys !!! I bought this and another color to tweek and put over my layout blind. Seeing how all layout blinds are camo'd in like Max 5. Which is ridiculous cause no one is laying flat out in cat tails... I cut and sowed the blanket so I could attach it to my blind with snaps and still open my doors. Fits perfectly on top and only have to camo the sides and I am done and read to smash some waterfowl. ... show more

I keep several available for those quick makeshift blinds. They are strong and have a 3D effect so I rarely add any extra structure. Just hook it to whatever is available, get behind it and be still. Birds or deer never notice it as it blends in perfectly with almost any environment.
