We had looked around town for reading glasses @ strength 2.25 and could not find them anywhere. At Amazon.com we not only found the glasses at the strength I needed but also at a tremendous bargain! These NORPERWIS Reading Glasses 5 Pairs Quality Readers Spring Hinge Glasses for Reading on Amazon were just $14.99. That's only $3.00 a pair! They arrived quickly, are very comfortable, and just the right strength I needed @ 2.25! I use these glasses for when I'm on the computer, for reading, and working in my craft room where I enjoy doing Paint by Number kits and Making Jewelry. With five pairs of glasses it allows me to pass them all around the house so whatever room I'm in, there's a pair of reading glasses ready to be used. I no longer have to keep up with my one pair of reading glasses which was a big problem remembering to pick them up and take them with me to the next room I was headed too. Now wherever I go, there's a pair of glasses waiting for me to use them. There's even an extra pair of glasses to put in the car. I need reading glasses, travel for work and have ADHD so I tend to forget where I've laid glasses, lose them, and break them a fair amount. So avoid expensive reading glasses and have used various cheap pairs from Sam's Club, the Dollar Store, CVS, etc. After deciding to see what was on Amazon my wife picked up a set of these. And I've used them exclusively ever since. I buy 2.00 for reading and computer work and 3.50 (for hobby and portal video game use) If something is going to go on these it is the ear pieces which is the only reason I've had to replace any but in my work and travel they tend to get treated roughly and break fairly often. For use around the house or pure office work with no travel I expect they would last a good while. They are not expensive lenses so don't expect the clarity a more expense ground lens would give you. But I have no complaints. I will continue to order these as I go through them. I also seem to have a wide head and finding cheap reading glasses that are wide enough to fit and not look ridiculous is a bit of a challenge. These fit that bill, too. ... show more

I don’t normally review items, but these were a great purchase. The quality of the glasses were excellent! I just needed some throw-away cheaters that I always seem to loose, but these are keepers. These are sturdy and I’m not afraid of breaking them if in my front pocket. These are very good!

These are the best reading glasses I've ever had. And you know you need a few so you can stick one in a bag and one in the bedroom etc etc. They do not have an annoying sticky rubbery part on the sides or nose bridge thing. Multi pack readers that I've bought at Costco and other places always have something like that or they are too tight. I was a little hesitant at first ot buy these on line VS Wal Mart or a dollar store, What a great value 5 pairs for less than the price of one pair at a retailer and I think the quality is as good if not better. I would highly recommend these readers

I have a big head but these fit very well and the plastic frames make them way more comfortable then any metal frame glasses I have worn. They also have a larger contact area on your nose keeping them straight and keeps them from sliding down your nose. After wearing these I will never buy metal frame reading glasses again. Didn't really need five pair but the price is so cheap at $3 a pair I can't complain. Really can't recommend these enough. ... show more

They work. Probably the correct strength. Very good value. They are a little heavy. I thought that I was getting assorted colors, but all came black. It might be my own oversight. The value is really good. I now have a set of readers for every location: office, home, car, briefcase and a spare.
