I ordered both a medium and a large since I'm on the cusp. The medium actually technically fit, as the fabric is stretchy, but it looked like the kind of outfit I had to sneak out of my parents' house in 20 years ago. The large looked much classier; it showed less cleavage and no panty lines. My inseam is 34" and this hit the top of my foot perfectly with a pair of flats. Short ladies will need heels and/or alterations. The fabric isn't a high-end material typical of formalwear, but it isn't that visibly (or, gawd, audibly) cheap polyester, either; it's soft and slinky and nice enough to wear out for a night on the town. The garment snugs up just above the belly/below the ribcage with two sashes built into the fabric that are supposed to cross each other and tie in the back. The fabric below that isn't super tight, especially if you size up. This makes it comfortable for sitting, and it can skim over a few extra pounds, though if you normally use shapewear with form-fitting dresses you'll probably still want it for this. Getting in and out to use the bathroom is easy; no zippers, nothing hard to reach yourself. There's a seam along the plunging V neck that you're supposed to tuck under; seems that should have been glued, but once you tuck it, it stays. No-show bra options limited to stick-on plunge bra or pasties; I just went without. ... show more

The fabric is completely see through. Love the style, the fit, everything was perfect except for the fact you could see right trough it.. and I don’t mean underwear line or anything like that, I mean it is practically sheer!!! No thank you, sent it back .. SUPER DISAPPOINTED:(

Fabric doesn’t lay flat and looks sloppy. Needs alterations. Halter Neck is large and would be great if it tied or was adjustable. Would like to return or exchange for smaller size.
