So, I put these on a chair 3.5 years ago. And I just replaced them. This isn't a bad thing. Look, these things, like anything like this are going to wear out. But they last quite a while given that they've faithfully resisted my fairly large butt falling into an easy chair without slipping an inch (the dent where the one leg of this chair is on carpet attests to that). What's great is these fail really gracefully. The rubber eventually wears off. But below the rubber is a huge thick slab of felt. This has two great advantages 1. They protect the floor still 2. They slip a lot so you replace them before they wear though and hurt the floors. This chair has 4 legs (shocking), one on a rug and the others on wood. The wood floors are unmarked and other than a pretty substantial dent the rug is in great shape. The one thing is that these really, really don't let your chair move. This has three disadvantages 1. This can make rug dents worse 2. I think moving a bit helps the chair dissipate some force. This is a pretty cheap easy chair and has gotten a bit wobblier over time. I don't think this really is a flaw with the pad, but if you have a chair that is near the end of its useful life, this might not be the choice. 3. Moving your chair is annoying. It will not slide. You need to pick it up, and with substantial chair this is more annoying than you think

After removing my carpet and putting hardwood, my sofa would slide all over. My sectional would just be in pieces all over my living room. I put these on and now they are completely set in place. They don’t even move a hair. It has been a headache reliever!!!!!!!! I no longer have to rearrange my sofas constantly. They work GREAT.

These worked great on our sectional to keep it from slipping around the hardwood floors, but after a few months, the adhesive weakened and they slipped off the furniture feet. I used E6000 glue to hold them on and it’s been rock solid since.

Bought these for our sofa, so it would quit sliding on our new laminate floors. They were easy to apply and we were done in no time. My husband decided he wanted to put them on the bottoms of the sofa ottoman, as it drives him nuts it keeps moving. I told him I would prefer him not to do it. He went ahead anyway. The next day as I was walking by the sofa, my foot caught the ottoman and I had the most unbearable pain. After finally going to urgent care, X-rays revealed I fractured my small toe. I am impressed with this product, as the ottoman never moved. The grip was unbelievably strong. Well worth it if you don’t want your furniture to move or slide at all. Highly recommend wearing shoes around items after installation.

I utilized the pads on a large sofa and loveseat. I have wood flooring and the sofa would move almost every time you sat down and was scratching the floor. These pads attached perfectly to the legs of the sofa and loveseat and prevent any movement of either while providing a cushion between the legs and the floor.

Just got Laminate flooring installed and my Lazy Boys were sliding around when I sat down. I was told to get felt to put on the bottom of the furniture to keep from scratching the new floor, but realized I needed something different for the sliding. Asked Amazon for non skip furniture pads and these came up. Worked like a charm and I can cut in half and install long ways to get more pieces.One day in and no slipping and sliding. Love it.
