The lotion itself is nourishing, but not greasy/oily. It soaks in pretty quickly. It's lightweight, so you may want to pair it with a thicker lotion/another product to lock in the hydration if you are looking for a heavy moisturizer. I use this mostly in the summer (need something lightweight for the hot, humid summers in Texas) and when I'm lounging around the house. I have been buying this lotion for several years and apply it to upper legs and belly nightly. It has helped significantly with cellulite. My skin is smoother and nowhere close to as dimpled as it was. This helps with my confidence and even when I'm on a tight budget I save room to make this purchase because I can't live without it. It works! It's thick so a little goes a long way. The bottle lasts me several months. The scent is a bit of a light floral scent to me and not really my favorite but it's not a bad smell. It also dissipates pretty quickly. It at least smells clean and not chalky or like chemicals. I follow up with a body spray and that takes care of it.
