  • This Sports game was purchased and evaluated by my family along with other SPORTS GAMES
Our family got the Nintendo Switches with the idea that we would get a SPORTS GAME that we all liked, and we could use Local Play to play together. Getting the switches was the easy, but expensive, part of the plan. So, one of the criteria we are judging the SPORTS GAMES is the price. We also want it to be easy to play, and finally it needs to have great graphics. There is no point if it does not meet these requirements. I will list the games in Alphabetical order according to their titles to make it easy to find. I love and trust Amazon, so all the SPORTS GAMES we are trying out are from Amazon.com Just so you understand, when I say Game I mean the whole SPORTS GAME; but when I say sport, then it is one of the sports in the game. 30 Sports Games: The best thing about this game is the variety of sports available. It has poor graphics. The avatar I created had to have a tan because that was all that was available. I like my avatar to look like me (grey hair and all). The sports were difficult to play in some instances. There weren’t any instructions on how to aim the rifle and the swimming had to follow a set pattern. Some sports were so difficult to figure out how to play, we just gave up on them. These sports need to have instructions that pop up at the start of every session, and then go away while playing. Secondly, the game likes you to choose one of your controllers to play the game. One of us chose the right controller of their console, and the other chose the left controller. The left controller was a mistake. It shut down the controller that had the Home Button and it was impossible to exit the game. Once again, we had to take the cartridge out to end the game. That means this game only gets 2 Stars. Instant Sports Paradise: This game failed because it was not easy to use. We both had different problems to begin with. My wife started playing one of the sports that was close to the hut where we started. She enjoyed the game for 10 minutes, and then had trouble exiting the sport for the next 20 minutes. I went exploring with this game. I enjoyed flying down a canyon and playing golf. However, I too had trouble exiting this game. It turns out that you must get back to the first hut to exit. While exploring this game, I did not keep track of all the trails I traveled. Therefore, I could not find my way back to the hut to exit properly. We were both forced to just take the cartridge out and hope it did not mess with our other games. It was fun for me but not my wife, and it was a pain to exit. This game gets 2 stars because of the graphics, but that is all that we liked about it. Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games: This is a great game. I think this will be the one I purchase for the whole family. This has it all. It is fun, great graphics, easy to use, and it is less expensive than the runner up. This game has more sports than other games. The introduction to how Mario and Sonic got to complete in the Olympic Games is also available. It is a little cheesy, but it is entertaining once. This game gets the maximum stars I can give. It gets 5 stars. Nintendo Switch Sports: The only thing this game does not pass from the criteria that I listed in the first paragraph is the Price. This game is almost twice the cost of the other games. This game costs almost $50 for the cartridge but amazon also has the code available for a competitive price. Having said that, it has great graphics, and it is very easy to use and navigate unlike others games in this list. My wife loved the graphics in this game. She also liked playing sports. It is unfortunate that there are fewer sports than there are in other games. We loved the sports that were offered. This is one of the SPORTS GAMES we listed the highest. This one gets 4 stars. NOTE: Instant Sports: This game cannot be evaluated by me. I ordered the game, but it came smashed. I am sorry I cannot evaluate this SPORTS GAME with the others. It looks like fun. ... show more

  • Amazing game to play on family night!
Ladies and gentlemen, gather 'round, for I have encountered a gaming marvel that will flip your world faster than a pancake on a Sunday morning! Enter the realm of Nintendo Switch Sports, where joy meets excitement, and your thumbs embark on Olympic-level training! Remember the old Wii Sports days? Well, picture that, but with the Nintendo Switch's magical capabilities! It's like Mario and Sonic decided to throw a party, and every iconic Nintendo character RSVP'd for the event. Let's talk about the games within this gem. From the classic tennis that makes you feel like a Wimbledon pro (minus the sweat stains) to bowling, where even the clumsiest of us can get a strike, each game is a slice of pure joy wrapped in pixelated goodness. It's like having a sports carnival at your fingertips, minus the sweaty athletes! And the controls? Oh, dear friend, they're smoother than butter on a hot biscuit! The Joy-Cons become extensions of your very being as you swing, punch, or shoot your way to victory. It's like the controllers are whispering, "You got this!" with every motion. But wait, there's more! The multiplayer mode is where the real fun begins. Gather your friends, family, or even your pet goldfish (if they're into gaming) and dive into the competitive world of Switch Sports. It's the kind of chaos that turns family gatherings into legendary tournaments, with laughter echoing through the halls and joyous screams of victory... or defeat. Nintendo didn't just create a game; they crafted an experience. It's like a rollercoaster ride through a pixelated wonderland, where every twist and turn brings a smile to your face. Now, let's address the graphics. Sure, they might not be hyper-realistic, but who needs photorealism when you have adorable, charming characters dashing across vibrant landscapes? It's like stepping into a living cartoon where the fun never ends! Oh, and the music! It's so catchy, it'll have you humming the tunes even when you're not playing. It's like having a soundtrack that turns every moment into a mini-celebration. In conclusion, Nintendo Switch Sports isn't just a game; it's a bundle of joy, a digital carnival that brings people together, and an endless source of entertainment. It's a reminder that gaming isn't just about winning; it's about creating memories, sharing laughter, and having a blast with those you love. So, grab your Switch, get ready to break a virtual sweat, and let Nintendo Switch Sports be the MVP in your gaming collection. It's an absolute blast that'll make you want to high-five your screen in sheer excitement! ... show more

  • Good clean family fun with exercise intertwined!
My kids and I enjoy this game. It’s the best type of exercise, the kind that odd fun and direct seem like it is exercise at all. 10/10 would recommend, I bought it for my 11 year old, I didn’t think my 2 & 4 year old would ever play but they do, and with the easy controls, they are pretty good!

Whether we're competing against each other or teaming up for cooperative play, there's never a dull moment with Nintendo Switch Sports. If you're looking for a solid game that brings the whole family together for laughter and excitement, this is definitely it! ... show more

  • How did it take them this long to make this game?
This game coming out so far in the switch’s lifecycle is absolutely bonkers to me. Just like the Wii, the switch should’ve launched with this game because it makes sense right? No, let’s release it like 4 years later(idk for sure don’t quote me) for no reason. The golf is what I’m here for mostly, the other games are fine but have the same kind of “easy trick to be dominate at everything”. Haven’t played soccer much to have a good opinion so that’s excluded. But the extra control and more club selection is great on golf but guess what. Not a single new golf hole was created for this game. Not one. It’s just reused assets or whatever with a new box and a higher price tag. It’s a disgrace when I know it can’t take thaaaaat long to make another 9 holes or even 18 since it took them so long to get this game into the hungry consumer hands. Obviously this game is fun and gets you moving, but it also pisses me off so much. ... show more
